Typical blah kaka blah blah as usual. I didn’t say anything about him not playing with Wilson! I just said that he won’t play wide. So I’m not sure why you started babbling. I wasn’t questioning anyones post in particular to begin with. All I was saying is that he didn’t come here to play wide or even close to your typical wide man. He might play slightly to the side of a CF or off him or similar in something more of a two. But not wide with any real defensive responsibilities whatsoever like your typical wide forward. He’s a star signing for a ton of money. It’s only a question of time before Wilson is on the bench even when fit. You have a typical behaviour to defend things when there is no reason to. But you choose to read things that way too often I guess. I didn’t quote you. All I said is that he didn’t come here to play the wide man role. Lord have mercy!

Isak didn’t come here to play wide.

IF we manage to win this then its been a very good start considering our fixtures so far. God i would love a win here without the issue of shitting myself for the last 30 minutes or so. 2-0 at HT and then a third early in the 2nd half please I hate being nervous as fuck towards the end of games. Especially after a kick in the balls like the end of the Liverpool game. Fine margins.

He should be our main CF. He will be too it’s only a matter of time once we strengthen one or two other areas.

From now on going forward I don’t mind us going for say 2 players a window at the most (depending on serious injuries). Where one player is a Isak kind of signing and the other a top quality less proven young player that is cheaper. I like the idea of doing it this way. We have some glaring holes here and there but we won’t have to make as many deals from now on. Build the team around Isak, ASM, Bruno, Trippier, Botman, Pope, Targett and Joelinton to begin with. Replacing other players in the team slowly but steadily will make our squad depth so much better while still maintaining team spirit and the feeling of unity where most players feel and will be taking part over a whole season. We don’t need wholesale changes now going forward. Quality and top top potential over quantity and the rest will sort itself out. Joelinton for example is a player that might be limited IF he has to do the job of other more ball playing players. He is a monster in midfield and if we have more technical players that can do more of the technical side of things then he won’t be a hindrance but an asset in there doing what he does best. Very good footballers in there will elevate his play and make it easier for him to take part too as he won’t have to do it all. Then his “weakness” in there won’t even be a limitation to our game but a massively important part of the collective eleven. He will also become even better with time I reckon. Targett is class too, so so underrated, even now. Future is looking bright now already. Ambition and hope feels normal now, which is insane consider what a short amount of time it’s been since the takeover. Sometimes I feel like I need to remind myself and pinch myself to fully grasp where we just were and where we have come. The best is yet to come. All I can say GTFI. No apathy anymore. HTL!

Finally it’s closed business for us. Now let’s look forward to the season properly lads ? It’s gonna be good no matter what. Don’t forget, we will be looking to improve again and again. We are going places. We shall soon be where we belong.

Very fair unbiased and non delusional rating

Oh well… Good window which I would give a 7/10 rating. Some very good deals done but also failed to strengthen our priority wide position and CM. Still very happy overall. One more quality player in and it would be a 9. Or 9.5/10 window.

Not the type of player that would be my first choice of style. However he is quality and if the price is true then we need to try if there’s the slightest chance of him wanting to come here.
