He is athletic but lacks in technical ability and passing which goes hand in hand many times. Good in transition at times. I don’t see him having a long term future with us. As a squad player at best I imagine. He’s ok for now to have around. I like him but just don’t think he has what it takes for where we are aiming and how we are trying to play.

I don’t see Howe wanting him in for the long term and wouldn’t sign him just for the short term either. Just doesn’t fit with the profile we are looking at. Would I take him? There’s so much obvious about him at first sight. His understanding and movement when it comes to football is something that can be missed, and I can’t praise it enough. Already when he came through and started playing senior football it was insane how advanced and mature he was when it came to movement and his understanding of the game. I can only imagine Bruno’s through balls with him up front. I’m sure they will have an amazing understanding as well as the ability to execute it beautifully. Match made in heaven. Not just when there is space like for his second last night, but also those short through balls Bruno plays into the penalty area. Isaks acceleration and movement combined with his ability to turn a player or three in a tight space. Horny.

nah mate. I’m happy and excited as fuck about him. As much as anyone. I just think the way people talk about players on here sometimes based on very little can be a bit misleading. Not so much in this particular case maybe but just in general. Can’t wait to see more of him ⭐️??

You say he is a high level finisher. He can score great goals but he also misses quite a few easy ones which he has got criticism for during his career. Different times now and I’m sure he will do well with a fresh start. The young man is talented as hell. And as a Swede I’m super happy to have him onboard. A lot more focus will be on Newcastle now over here because of him. Just wanted to mention this so that people know. And not get too carried away. Especially when saying he is this and that based on very little.

The biggest factor that makes people think our bench and squad is weak is mainly because they know how easily Wilson and ASM get injured. Some people say that it isn’t too bad because when everyone is fit there are decent options. Problem is that two of our best players aren’t fit a lot of the time so we don’t have a squad where most are fit, never mind the most important players. This makes the point kind of weak. Even then, we lack quality in some areas/squad. Don’t start with the bullshit can’t do it all in one window. That’s not what I’m saying or expecting.
