Because both players have tons of experience in the PL as well as a preseason (Pope). Not saying that Isak won’t start or that I wouldn’t start him. Just wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the bench to begin with, especially since we are playing Liverpool away, even if that might not make much of a difference. Ability wise he should start Isak, no doubt. Howe might be thinking more long term though.

One could argue that getting someone like Tielemans in will make us stronger than we are now defensively, overall. Mainly because we would be much better at keeping the ball and therefore less often under pressure because of losing it too often. This with the added bonus of what he offers going forward.

Not my first choice but I’d say it’s a must do deal if possible at 25m. Him and Bruno when having possession ain’t bad lol. Never mind their through balls to Isak who is amazing off the ball too. Technically a very good player with a good footballing brain.

Good window so far. I would say a 7/10 rating. Add a CM or RW and it’s a 8.5/10. Add both and it’s a 10/10 window.

Well i still think it's a priority as much as a CM. "You seem to want it all" Stop making shit up. I've said winger and striker and CM since ages back. Ideally in a perfect world we need more, but i understand it can't be done this quickly. I also think the peple in charge still want a wide player. ASM gets injured for a month or two then i sure as hell won't want to rely on Fraser's fitness. I'd be surprised if Wilson plays as many as 20 league games.

Stacked with shite yes. Signing Isak doesn’t solve the what “should be”priority of a wide player. I still think we will get one, sure hope so.

He can't cover both though if Wilson is out. Which is the main reason we must get a wide player in for at least decent depth. ASM injury record isn't exactly great either.

I've read but it's not quite like that. Isak is mainly a CF but he can play with Wilson too, like Howe said. It doesn't change the fact that if Wilson is injured then we still dont have a proper right sided player if Isak plays centrally.
