Nkunku started off as a wide player before he started playing more centrally between the lines. However now in the last year or so he has played as a forward centrally.

Fair enough. I'm still a bit cautious about him for the prices quoted before at least. From the games i've seen i have found that he is pretty raw. Not sure how he would do in a possession based team if the oppostion is defending very deep. I can see teams doing this against us, especially the lesser teams and at home. Obviously wouldn't mind him, just thinking that maybe a more natural flair player would be better for us.

Diaby has 1 assist in the league this season in 8 games. Not saying he is a bad player or anything. For the money he would cost I think I’d rather see us trying for Nico Williams. He might be more difficult to get though, not sure how realistic.

Looking forward to tomorrow nights game. A big game for both. Well looking forward might not be the best choice of words. Interesting nonetheless.

I think we will get one or two that we didn’t get in the summer.

Im just gonna relax and enjoy game by game and not thinking too far ahead. Towards the end of the season I might think differently. So much can and probably will happen between now and the end of the season, both ups and downs. A run of wins or a run of losses can change so much over a few games table wise.

Maybe. I think it mostly depends on the lack of quality/technical ability when Bruno isn’t playing. Goes for the both of them.

He won’t be a starting player after the next window or two unless we have injuries. Very good yesterday and I’m well chuffed for him. Such a good lad.

Very good yesterday. He is talented and can play very well when he is in a game like yesterday. Very open game despite them being a man down and for some reason not sitting back. His strengths shows most often when there’s tons of transitional play and some space. I think after next summer window he will be a good squad player to bring on when we are defending a lead late on and look to counter more. He won’t be good enough to start week in and week out for where we are going. A more possession based football. Even more so further ahead.

Massive 3 points. Cannot be underestimated how vital this win is going forward. We have deserved more from some of the games so far so it’s nice to finally get some wind in our sails again. Hopefully players can stay fit and ASM is back soon too along with Alex.
