Not sure how you can say “forget players over 120k”. It’s based on nothing but your own theory and thoughts to be honest. I don’t see us spending on 400k/week players no.

I would like players that have more end product and like real technical ability, that natural touch and flair. Instead of the pacey and raw dribbling skills. I’m not saying that Doku isn’t this as I’m not sure I have seen him enough to make a fair judgement. His stats look bad though. a good example would be like HBA compared to ASM. HBA natural technical ability is heads and above. Two different types. think this is going to be important when we push some teams back. Having that extra technical ability and creativity instead of raw dribbling skills and pace which is not going to help always

I wouldn’t mind him like. It’s just that our attacking front needs massive investment too, along with a attacking midfielder or similar.

If we are looking to sign a DM that plays deep (not sure we are) then I wouldn’t spunk all that on Phillips. Especially when we might have Bruno there pulling the strings very often. I’d be looking for someone like Grillitsch on a free instead and use that 50m or whatever for other players.

He has been outstanding in many games. Time will tell if he can be it when we have some teams parking the bus at our place.

We should aim to push the top 6, but we shouldn’t expect to be in the top 6. That’s how I see it and I think it’s the way to go. Too 8 is achievable and if we do that then we probably will push the top 6 for some periods of the season at least.

I love him. However I’m undecided on his position when thinking long term. I don’t think it will be in central midfield starting for us. Especially if we are looking to control games properly. I think we need a proper link between Bruno and attack plus one box to box that is great in possession. Depends on if we are going for some sort of triangle or a more balanced 3 in a line more or less, where we are looking for Moore creativity from the wide players. He could grow into that box to box role though. Then have someone more advanced and creative.

I find it gobsmacking how great his passes are. Even the longer over the top ones. Very difficult to make and even more insane that I don’t remember one of them going wrong. Some of them have been quite advanced too. He did one to Ritchie with the outside of his foot against Norwich. A quicker player there and he would have been through. Love how he tries to make little one two’s at times too. A flick forward and then a run looking to receive it. Hasn’t always got the pass back but lovely to see. Just like the rest of you, I absolutely adore him and can’t stop looking at every detail when he is on the pitch.

i dont remember against who but he made an absolutely ridiculous through ball too Miggy in one of his first games. It looked way too heavy but ended up absolutely perfect because of the slight backspin in the end. It was a long one too which Miggy reached just before it went out.

Even when thinking of Trippier alone, making precision passes and plays to Bruno in the centre. Add a few other top quality players into the team
