Not extremely unlikely tbh

Hope some Championship team buys him from us and that we sign two new CM's.
-
This is what I'd do as well Not saying that he's good enough to be 1st or 2nd choice striker for us, but sometimes it feels like people forget his age and that he has tons of time to change and develop as a player, whether that's here or somewhere else time will tell. There's so many players around the world that have scored a lot of goals despite failing to do so when when they were just over 20. I wouldn't sell him as I don't think we'd get much for him anyway, I think a loan somewhere would be good for everyone concerned. That would mean that we'd have to sign two quality strikers instead which I can't see.

I'd rather just get him off the wage bill. He cost £13m and he'll be on a canny wedge. He couldn't handle the Championship, I see no point in paying him for a Premier League campaign. He hasn't exactly figured regularly in the Championship has he? Only time he got a chance for a few games in a row was when Gayle was out injured and then he performed well and scored goals only to be benched as soon as Gayle was fit (rightly so). He only scored 1 goal after Gayle got injured. He has 1 goal in his 19 appearances, starting and sub. Didn't Mitro score like 3-4 goals during a short period of time?? He did when Gayle was out in November. 4 goals in a week vs Preston. Ok, so he did score a few goals when he got a few games in a row then.

He's not good enough. It's really as simple as that. be b His wages might be a bit high for a 3rd/4th choice striker but I'm not sure we'll get a better one willing to barely make the bench (possibly). I would not sell him anyway, a loan for him would be good for everyone involved if anything.

So you think we'll start next season with only two wingers in our squad? Ritchie and a new LW? I'm not including Aarons.
-
The money we'd get for him wouldn't help us in any way Imo. Rather keep him as 3rd choice or thereabouts.
-
People say we can do better, but I doubt it (6m for an ok backup winger). If we had a much more offensive LB providing tons of forward runs and width then I think Atsu could be more effective if allowed to drift inwards a bit more often. We have a few areas to spend cash on and I'm not sure we can afford to spend tons on squad players. Put the money on a proper starting LW and other positions first.
-
A bit worrying that they could have scored a few goals in the second half though. Not sure who was at fault there, but we were found short at the back on three or four occasions. Aye, we gave them some free chances but they didn't look like scoring all noone. I get your point. Whoever we buy I'd like that CB to be good on the ball, at least decent.
-
Having two CB's able to play the ball pretty well and quickly really gives the other players that extra second of space with the ball once they get it.
-
it's fuck all and we can't sign hundreds of wingers. Whatever Rafa decides I'm in.
-
Most of all, he has the attitude and mentality to get better and better Has good potential.
-
How fucking nice does it feel watching a game of ours without your heart pumping like hell?
-
Another fucking beauty haha
-
Murphy and Ginger off.
-
Love having a player like Mbemba who can handle and pass the ball from the back so naturally. Yet another penalty not given FFS! Perez almost sent that defender up the stands to buy sausage, nah but he was about to trick and pass him but got pulled.
-
3-1 to us because everyone's so negative
-
Nice to see two CB's that can pass the ball a bit. I wish Dummett was at least decent with the ball at his feet because he's soooo bad technically it's ridiculous. Always take a lot of time on the ball and when he finally releases it, the ball goes either wide or the team mate who receives it will be closed down having next to no time on the ball after getting it. A LB that can play would give us sooo much more balance, I mean it doesn't even have to be an extremely attacking one.

I hope that Lazaar starts

Their wages to turnover ratio is 77.6%

Only former player I'd like to see come back is HBA, and I'd f***ing love it and be over the moon like never before. Not that it'll happen but his individual brilliance would win us quite many points over a season, even if he'd maybe be a bit inconsistent. Probably not a Rafa player, but yeah, I'd love it. The rest of our former players can f*** off Imo.
