  1. I agree regarding quality before quantity, but we desperately need a LW and LB and #10 as well on top of that spine of three. Dummett is "ok" defensively more often than not, but having someone being able to pass the ball even decently would improve the team on a whole, so much. The balance would be so so much better with a player able to handle a football. Would make us much more fluid.
  2. Looks like It could be another weekend with great results

And now begins the "Rather winning in the Championship than getting battered like you Marra's will before you get relegated again! FTM!"
  4. Another fucking great weekend.
  5. LB, CB, CM, LW, #10 and a striker should be absolute 1st priority imo. That's 6 players already
  6. He's building a house in Newcastle which he won't get access to until 5 weeks from now. The electrician is late because he's been on a safari in South Africa.
  7. Was absolutely awful against Ipswich but I thought he did really well last night and has done so before as well. RB or RW shouldn't be priority next season like you say. Our left side though...
  8. Thought he was poor up until his goal. I'm not sure what game you were watching. Cardiff v Newcastle last night. Our midfield was awful 1st half. Hayden was our best player yesterday, and has been one of our best players this season like. In your opinion of course. My opinion is that he's had a decent season, but nowt remarkable. I thought he was poor 1st half yesterday, improved after half time, as did the team in general, and seemed to grow massively in confidence after his goal. Ofcourse, I wasn't saying it wasn't, it's all opinions, thats what makes football what it is, but do I feel you're being overly harsh. He's still young so there's room to improve, unlike Colback for example, which is why I'd be happy to see him kept on as a squad player next season. Think we'll need better than him in our first XI though. Aye, happy to see him in the squad for next season, and give him games here and there during a long season to continue his development and try and challenge for a 1st team spot. Don't want us to rely on him as a starter (most won't) and I'm not sure it'd be the best thing for him to play most games anyway as it very easily could go wrong for a young player with too much expectations from him too early.
  9. Same as Mitrovic then, but on a fraction of the wage. Because Armstrong would bring as much to the team as Mitro in general, yeah right... I struggle to see what Mitrovic actually brings to the team. It certainly isn't goals which is a bit of a problem when he's the centre forward. Ok.
  10. In 2017 he isn't, he's been crap for two years. Alreet then Jamaal and co are better I think there are other options out there tbh
  11. Safe to say that he has learned a helluva lot under Rafa. Shape/positioning and whatever there might be, despite in a lower league. He will not be as poor for us in the PL like he was for Villa.

  13. I agree regarding Icardi, but Batshit is much more realistic, even though still quite/very unlikely.
  14. Aye, you're probably right that he earns a coin or two. Wouldn't be against it when it comes to loaning a couple of first teamers for our first season back. I mean loans aren't free or anything but I'm sure there would be a couple of decent deals to do for a couple of quality players which would give us more money for the permanent signings. Having said that, whoever we possibly loan I would like there to be an option to buy (preferably) at the end of the season with a price already set.
  15. Would Batshuayi on loan be a totally unrealistic option? How has he been doing for Chelsea btw? I mean if Chelsea sign another striker in the summer. Liked the look of him just before he moved to Chelsea.
  16. f***ing love that man! Btw, he sounds a little bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger in this one Ashley, get to the chopper!! Get down!
  17. Icardi. Yeah thought about him but I doubt he's an realistic option tbh (not even sure if you are being serious or not)
  18. Safe to say that we want and need to sign a quality striker in the summer. Who would you go for? It's not very easy to come up with a realistic but quality player for this position when I think about it. Not realistic in any way but someone in the mould of Lacazette would be perfect (I know )
  19. Apart from a couple of miserable bastards on here..
  20. I think he's putting too much pressure on himself here, so desperate to succeed that it just isn't working out for him.
