Fucking get in! Absolutely correct. It annoyed me how people (some) on here slated Shelvey for fuck all to be honest. As if he had stabbed someone in the forhead.

As if we haven't played better football than we did overall during that season when we ended up in 5th :lol:

Can't argue with this tbh I do however want us to build a gap as big as possible, as early as possible from all the other teams. If only to make me feel some sort of satisfaction. And I guess many others on here feel the same and that it's not about being "worried" about other teams.

I'm not saying that he will be this or that, but it's f***ing ridiculous to write him off after one season. Especially when you consider his age and that the PL season was his first and under very difficult circumstances with a lot of pressure on his shoulders. Not saying it was wrong to sign him (early days) but getting him in and having him as a our #1 striker more or less was wrong in every way. He should have come in and adapt, given time before thrown in to the wolves. We should have went for a proven striker to be our main one, with him adapting and getting a few minutes here and there, like a promising inexperienced youngster should.

They are, to be fair, the champions Yeah I know..

We are the best team in this division, but we can't expect to not drop points every now and then during these 400 games or however many we play. Unrealistic! Yes we should be beating Blackburn, Wolves, Fulham and the likes of these, but we won't win every game ffs.

Getting robbed like this will probably make us stronger for the rest of the season, at least mentally, and more united. Rafa, the players, and everyone concerned will be more determined than ever now I think. I just hope that us not having Shelvey available won't affect us too much. Still fucking fuming though. I hope we win every game from now on in this shit league, preferably by spending a lot of cash in January as well, if only to piss others off.
