Ritchie will start. I can see Atsu getting benched and Gouffran playing, but hopefully not. What I would play as a front 6: Hayden Shelvey Ritchie Perez Atsu Mitro (Diame and Gouffran will probably play)
-
Has it been said why he is out of the game? Mitro will come in and do a good job.

Ooh Gayle is out i just heard..

I remember when he was at his best at Swansea and some people on here suggested that we should be bold and try for him in January to strengthen our cm. Everyone was like "no way would he come here", "he's too good and won't come", "we can't afford him" and so on..This was before everything started going bad for him there. He's got talent and if he wants and continues with the same attitude then he will be able to perform on a good level in the PL as well.

Exciting times for them.

Tiote in the squad on Saturday again then.

Getting a Roberto Carlos free kick in that wound would probably hurt.

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League

Knockaert is a good player but he's not worth the money he would cost. That's the reason we never made bigger bids than the one we supposedly made and rightly so imo -

There's always different cirumstances to each player when you think of the possible reasons why a player has or hasn't performed. To me there's quite a few when it comes to Mitrovic, and that's why i've always been behind him and had the belief that he will come good within time. He still has a lot to prove as he hasn't done anything yet (relatively) but i'm absolutely certain that he will come good and i've always been, and time will tell if it's here or somewhere else, or anywhere at all. I've been annoyed about some things about Mitro as well, but sometimes you have to have a bigger perspective of why a certain player hasn't performed and that's the reason i haven't gone overboard saying bad stuff about and against him. One thing i've struggled to understand is how some people have/had written him off even in this division despite barely getting a kick so far, and that's just ridiculous.

But can he clean windows like Blogryder?

How anyone can say "never" i can't understand. Rafa probably prefers a striker like Gayle to be fair, but if Gayle has a period where he's not playing well and not scoring and Mitro gets the chance and grabs it with two hands and starts banging them in like never before then i'm sure that Rafa wont bench him just for the sake of it.. This was aimed at Klaus before he deleted his post.

The Times is that a local newspaper or a popular one all over England?

I hope you flush soon and can move on in your journey. Nothing personal

At the end of the day we have two good strikers that can score goals at this level. Two strikers with different styles, but both offer us something and this is great for us

Should only get players that are top quality, which i doubt will be easy. Perhaps it's easier if we look certain of going up and go for top top talent from the lesser leagues. Otherwise buy/loan decent quality for the short term (central midfield) if needed. Can't see us signing more than one player, if that. -

We look very strong in attack with Gayle, Mitro, Perez and Diame (if recent form is anything to go by) as well as in defence where we have tons of options in all positions, especially when Lazaar and Jesus gets settled down and get 100% fit. Midfild is probably our "weakest" area, especially the central part of it. We have some really good players in midfield but not quite the same depth as in the other areas mentioned above. Looking really good right now and not many injuries so far compared to what we're used to -
Look at the state of that Sunderland team
