I think Mbemba will have a really good game. Good footballer from the little i've seen, hopefully he can do some overlaps and give width the times when Perez goes a little bit inside.

With Sissoko out of this game i'm a little bit undecided with what front 4 i'd go with (not that it fucking matters ). Hopefully we'll start Mitrovic, and ideally i'd like a left footed on the left and right footed on the right. Please no Mars man! At the same time i wanna see Aarons start as well. Perez has a pretty decent right foot, and is quite intelligent as a player even though i'd want him more centrally. Maybe something like this? Can't see McClaren going with such a young front 4 though. And ideally i'd like to see Thauvin on the left tbh, but Sissoko... Thauvin Perez Aarons Mitrovic

Personally i will give him around 15 games before i make my mind up about him. I will probably be frustrated as fuck at times, naturally! I was one of the very first ones who wanted Pardew sacked, along with Bimpy (where the hell is he?) and got alot of stick for it (probably well deserved at that early time) We'll probably have a bit of a up and down season i imagine, a couple of steps forward and a step back or two, but as long as our "curve" is slowly going in the right direction i will try to see it from a positive point of view. In the heat of the moment there will always be bad things said but that's football. It will be interesting to see if we can get more consistent after a few wins in a row whenever it happens, it will take time to create that confident winning mentality. First of all, hopefully the right players will start sooner rather than later. At least he seems like a likeable guy so far. I don't like the look of going in to season with our defence though Which will most likely make it very hard for us to perform the way we should.

Hopefully Thauvin will give us the flair and service that we need out wide. The only time Obertan goes past his player is when running in straight lines and when there's space. So easy to read and at most times it only takes one defender to stop him, sometimes not even that Unpredictable players with flair draws so much more attention, as teams have to double up at times, which gives other players lots of space. Players with his kind of style forces defence's out of shape, and oh boy we have missed that. He can go wide on the outside as well as cutting in at times. Add a good left back to this making overlap runs and our left hand could potentially be very nice.

Can't wait to see Mitrovic play with decent service in to the box, i mean i can't wait until we see him start as well. He'll be a handful!

I've seen Thauvin and Wijnaldum before, not Mbemba/Mitrovic though (seem highly rated)

The lack of signings for our defence makes it hard to be excited about our other signings, which i think have been good. Once again not doing enough, which is disappointing but not very unexpected tbh.

Players like Aarons, Perez and De Jong on the bench and we still start with players like Colo, Haidara and Colback :lol: I'm happy with the signings made i must say, but not at the cost of a shit defence as we haven't solved these positions... A shitty defence will mean that our attacking players wont be able to perform to their best (attacking as a team in general)

When i saw him play for Bastia a few times he played on the left (might have played on the right at times). For OM it's been on the right until this season when he has played as a #10.
