Ok, well im glad to hear Hopefully he wont start Against Chelsea then. Personally i would have played Anita ahead of him against Villa.
-
Im 99% certain that Jonas would have started no matter what.
-
Because Pardew said Did he? (what i've read is that Marv would have started, that's all)
-
I dunno if i've missed something, but what makes people believe that Jonas wouldn't have started if Marv was fit to play against Villa?
-
GTFI! Absolutely brilliant news!
-
A quality left/right sided forward who can play centrally as well, like Aubameyang and a top quality CB if Colo leaves. That i would be very happy with. Maybe add some quality youngsters as well. Hopefully no outgoings (our quality players) But most of all i'd like a new manager who can get the most out of our players.
-
Yes but we need one now. Not that im gonna complain too much after all of our deals in this window
-
Can't see it happening, but we REALLY do need another winger/forward. We have 4 players (good enough) for 3 positions Cissé, Gouffran, HBA and Marv)
-
Villa have a pretty tough fixture list. I mentioned West Ham a while ago that they might go down, or very near to. Haven't checked their remaining fixtures though.
-
i realise thats the default setting for everyone but no he wasn't, both had little to do in the first half and looked ropey in the second. I don't use these so called 'default settings'. Colo wasn't at his very very best, but still better than Taylor, in my non default setting opinion.
-
Colo wasn't better?
-
I agree with that team Dave, but Jonas will start ahead of Anita
-
The spicey food and the second half made me become shitbreak, literally.
-
Takes one to know one. Areet Ikon. Me?
-
Ben Arfa came back against Spurs after missing most of preseason because of injury, had his fitness and rehab taken care of in Paris iirc? Still looked twice as fit as any of our players in that game agains Spurs.
-
We will NEVER get anywhere with this clown in charge. We have good players but Pardew will never..ah just fuck off you clown!
-
Looks bigger than he actually is, somehow.
-
That first half felt like you've just had sex with Adriana Lima, and the second half is when she tells you that she has given you HIV. Over the moon with 3 points, but fuck me, what was Pardew doing? Seriously Absolutely clueless!!

I would rather play Anita than Jonas/Shola/Obertan as a wide forward (Marv and Gouffran as first choice of course) If Perch starts as well.
-
Yes but if Perch starts as a DM it would mean that one of Cabaye and Sissoko would end up in a deeper position as Perch probably wont be the one who goes looking for the ball to start our attacks when we're in possession in our own half, that would mean that we'd have 2 cm in the same deep line while loosing a cm option to pass to further up the pitch. Some loss of playing depth if you ask me.
-
I really do hope that Anita starts, i think he'd thrive with Cabaye and Sissoko in front of him. Good distributer of the ball and likes to pass and move as well. Starting him is us taking the game to them, starting Perch is a bit more going for safety defensively. Personally i think we'd be stronger defensively on a whole, as we'd be better in possession and hopefully keep the ball away from Villa as much as possible. Time will tell i guess.

29/01/2013 by West London Sport Harry Redknapp has tipped Moussa Sissoko to make a major impact at Newcastle. The midfielder recently moved from Toulouse to St James’ Park in what Redknapp believes will turn out to be an excellent signing by the Magpies. Redknapp was interested in Sissoko while Tottenham boss and made an enquiry about him after taking charge at QPR. “Sissoko’s a fantastic signing. I’d liked to have got him but Newcastle have absolutely nicked him,” he said. “The figures were very high but it still worked out cheap as there was no transfer fee. But he’s a good signing and I think Newcastle will do well with the players they have signed. “He’s a real powerhouse and will be a really good player in England.”
