First time was the Milan-Juve final I take it? What a shithole of a game that was too, particularly for those of us with 50 quid on Juve to lift the trophy. Maybe I'm line for a whoosh here, but the first time was back in 2005. Heck I'd even support a French team against the dips! You know what? I didn't even think about that one. Of course.

He would be losing sleep over this if he didn't have such a comfortable bungkbed at home.

Agree with so much in the OP that I might as well just do the hip thing of quoting it and saying 'that'. But I won't.

Rumour: Boumsong and Juventus to return to SJP

More thanks to Lippi than the club as a whole. -
Gives away far too many free kicks IMO but he is far better than what we have. Matterless though as he won't want to come here.

I'd agree, but not a 'massive' fee for Nugent. Bent just isn't that good.

I hope this thread is a joke.

As I understand it, Keegan doesn't touch the white stuff and I don't see why he'd want to start with you. What a strange urge to get after watching someone on a football programme. You need help buddy. Talk to Frank.

Hahaha, I just hate the fact people slag off the mongs when we all know if they weren't at work, abroad or too old to go, they'd be down there like a greyhound! I'm in town, 23 and could easily pop along if I wanted to. Am I fuck though.

I think the panel got it totally wrong but there's no way that they can reverse the decision now. I can see some kind of financial compensation going Sheffield United's way if they kick up enough of a fuss. I'm still surprised that events have conspired to make this an issue. It was an incredible run that saved them from relegation in the first place.

Aye, and the other side says "Greggs". See what I done there? I basically implied that, such is Shepherd's love of eating, that he even uses the paper bags that you get from Greggs as improvised note paper.

I hope they wrote in a clause about me being able to give Owen & Shepherd a little slap each if the minimum fee is met and he agrees terms. -
It'd be the kind of appointment that would make me believe in the club again for the first time since SBR.

Fat Fred Speaks About Owen Loyalty...................
Geordie Boot Boy replied to a topic in Football
Thing is, he strung them along making out that he was going to sign a new contract for over a year, all the while letting his current one run down. Eventually, Liverpool had to sell him for less than he was worth rather than lose him for nothing after another year. Would you do that to Newcastle? You'd at least let them get what you're worth wouldn't you? Ironically, I think it would've worked out better for him too because, if Real Madrid didn't get him so cheaply, I'd bet good money he would have played a lot more games for them (assuming they still bought him). -

Why have you praised his character? And why be surprised? If he ruthlessly got away from Liverpool for half his market value, why would he hesitate to do the same to us? -
Bung Bung Baggies! Newcastle sign WBA reserve team player in £5 million deal.

It seems to me that Owen is half way out the door already. It's unfortunate because he's represented terrible value for money, even by our shocking standards but that's life. I'd probably do the same in his position as a non-Newcastle supporter. -
I've never know a journalist that puts himself in articles like he does.

Players you'd like to see in black and white
Geordie Boot Boy replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
Me! I'd do it for my current wage too. (Someone had to say it) -
Serious? Why wouldn't anyone say bad things to him if that's how they feel? He's not exactly an intimidating man is he? He's not exactly done anything to respect? If you saw him, you wouldn't hurl abuse at him simply because there's no cause for making a scene. A gentle pat on the fanny and a "hard luck" is what he'd get from me.

I suppose he has to be commended for not spending much money during his reign of terror (provided that genuinely was his decision). I wish him well for the future.

What? Bringing on a twelfth man without the officials noticing you mean?
