Thought we'd missed out on that with the miraculous first PIF season in charge with the takeover euphoria followed by the miraculous charge up the table led by Howe. But this season was even better, would have loved for it to be an 8 part series rather than just the 4, but let's hope they manage to get the good stuff all in there. And there was quite a bit.

It's quite instructive that they don't. It's not that he doesn't bring some flair and ability to give teams a hard time, he clearly does. But he would cost a fair whack, wages would be out of most other teams reach, and his fitness record over his time here has been patchy at best.

Thing is, in his couple of appearances for the first team he hasn't looked out of place, regardless of his age, and we are talking decent opposition. Sometimes when you put a young lad into the first team they can look lost. This lad looks a player.

Yeah, Gordon is similar, both tend to try to get past their man by using their pace rather than trickery. That doesn't mean they can't feint or drop a shoulder, just they want to get behind defenders and hit them while they are exposed. Too many tricks and double backs just gives the whole defence time to regroup and smother the attack.

Interesting that with talk that ASM is our only sellable asset, there hasn't been much talk about selling Targett. I would have thought we should be able to get our money back on him, was around £12-15m wasn't it? Not exactly chump change. So I guess that means either there isn't much interest in him, or Howe rates him fairly highly and doesn't see the need to buy a LB upgrade.

Mate this is absolute shite...literally. If you keep them in the house you have to clean their litter trays out every day, and for what? If they are out and about they are happy as Larry doing their stuff in the garden and you don't even have to give it a second thought. Yes they kill wildlife, that's what they are designed to do. Have you seen those teeth and claws? What do you think those blackbirds do in their spare timeif they aren't pecking worms to death or eating them live?
