The passing doesn't need to be Hollywood variety for me. Progressive would just mean laying it off quick and moving forward for the return pass. Tiote with a bit less delusions of grandeur would do me nicely.

I'm genuinely surprised people are talking about selling players like Miggy, Longstaff or Wilson. All three have played integral parts in us being in the CL next season, at worst they would be very important squad players who would be playing plenty of games next season as well. It would cost a fortune to replace them when we don't need to. Better to just add two or three really high quality signings and let them fight it out. We don't even need to sell Maxi FFS.

I wouldn't be surprised if Howe makes Anderson look like a world beater in midfield on Monday. I get what you're saying, he did a decent job in midfield last season, but I still don't think he fits a top half PL side, I just don't think he's mobile enough. Or put it another way, I don't think he's getting bought by a top half PL side any time soon.
