I reckon if Maxi really wants to be at Newcastle, he'll be here for another season at least. Howe won't want to sell him unless ASM is not putting in the effort, whether that's on the training pitch or how he lives off it. Everyone is just guessing here, for all we know it might be Maxi is desperate to stay, and is happy to work on his muscle issues. But you can't deny he's missed too many games this season, and that will be a factor in any decision on his future.

Yeah would love that like. Considering he barely managed more than 4 or 5 goals a season when he was a striker, would be pretty outstanding to see him hit double figures from midfield. Especially given the work he puts in defensively as well, not like he just times the runs well Kevin Nolan-style.
