I haven't watched it, and after last night when people might have tuned in out of morbid curiosity, I'll bet the viewing figures will drop like a stone. I guess the Beeb could try to replace Lineker with Richard Littlejohn or Gary Bushell if they are still alive, maybe that would save their ratings.

Just win by any means necessary. Not easy against this Wolves side, but we need players to step up if they want a future here. Everyone is on trial.

The main issue for me isn't whether asylum seekers should be turned back or allowed in, it's that presenters like Gary Lineker should be allowed to have an opinion. We have plenty of other more repugnant individuals like Alan Sugar giving us their views, and he's also a BBC figure as far as I know.

Also worth mentioning that if we are talking about being one of the most tolerant nations in the world, it's because we have socially conscious people like Gary Lineker, not hard right bitches like Suella or the Daily Mail fan base she is appealing to.

I hope not. I don't watch it every week, but if I do, it's because they have a great front man in Gary Lineker, and the rest of their pundits aren't the worst around. It's a nice show to watch on a Saturday night if you just want to watch highlights of the other games.

We still can be if we can turn it around. Go on a bit of a winning streak and we'll be back in there. Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs are all very streaky for form so whichever team can put a run of results together will get that 4th spot.

It would be more interesting to see the viewing figures a month down the line if Lineker and his fellow pundits stayed off the show. But I already think the BBC must have realised they made a massive rick and will be desperately trying to find a way to bring him back or risk losing him to other channels.

Probably because he is. Good to see his fellow pundits on MOTD are standing with him and not caving in to the tabloid frenzy. MOTD needs Lineker, it would be disastrous if they lose him.

Someone described it on here a couple of days back as NUFC's Brexit transfer policy. I can understand it to some extent, Howe probably wants to work with players who will follow his blueprint, maybe PL players are more willing to do that from the off. My concern is we might be missing out on the really good players available from around the world by limiting ourselves to the likes of - for example - McTominay. Yes it will be an improvement, but not top four improvement.

At some point I can't help seeing ASM as that one. Not sure he'll ever be a first teamer for the top teams, but he's still young, and definitely a high impact player if you need a DIY merchant.

Wouldn't be that surprised if Levy decided to sell up tbh. Spurs will always find buyers.
