I do think goal scoring is an instinctive thing, not sure if you are going to develop it much further with age. That said, he might be a good finisher playing in a bad team, or in the wrong position. I just haven't seen enough of him to be able to judge.

Shelvey's always been a very good passer, he's also surprisingly difficult to dispossess, he's good at maintaining possession. His only real fault is he's not got much mobility which means he's not going to be playing one-twos, and also means his pressing will be poor.

That's the best video of him I've seen. There's some really exciting touches in there which are not only about fancy tricks but also show some intelligence and awareness of other players around him. Get it done.

Really like the way we refused to get drawn into the Cornet/Dennis/Sarr bids despite the goals, showed we knew exactly what we wanted and weren't going to be swayed from that.
