Don't know which game you've been watching tbh. We've got players taking an extra touch and getting clobbered, passing to the wrong side of the player instead of front of them which gives them even less time to do anything with it. It's pretty awful football for the most part.

These being thugs withstanding, it's fairly clear that our back up squad as it stands is barely championship standard. I get that it's a smaller pitch, but that just makes the lack of ability on the ball stand out even more. Just looking at the starting line up it was hard to see where the football was going to come from. It's two teams of cloggers out there in reality, they are just a bit more aggressive than us. Our football isn't much better, that's for sure.

Not sure it's as simple as that, a midfielder's role is a little bit different to a forward's and requires a different skillset. It's a bit similar when people expect a ball playing defender to play in midfield, not quite the same in the maelstrom of a PL midfield.

Willock is a midfielder though, I don't see how Pedro or Isak are a replacement for him. Surely they would be threatening Miggy's RW spot more likely?

A quick dip of the toe into this thread only confirms how mental this site is. Absolutely bonkers.
