Cheeky bastards have put a 15 year old on the bench against us.
-
A bit left field but surprisingly touching.
-
He's not said much wrong but his inner cunt is pretty hard to keep under wraps.
-
Osula is literally the only player on the bench who can come on and run at players if we need some movement. Pretty much counting on the starting 11 to get this game put to bed before any subs then.
-
He's barely contributed this season really.
-
Gordon's out tonight isn't he?
-
Howe will go with Wilson because he's proven. Hopefully he's got enough left in the tank to score against dross like Leicester.
-
I'd already assumed he wouldn't be playing anyway, hopefully missing this game will get him right for the rest of the run in. We need to show we aren't a one man team and put Leicester away regardless.
-
Still far prefer the possession style far above the long ball shit we were forced to endure before he came to English football.
-
It's tight tbf, maybe they think Villa and Chelsea have a bigger squad to cope with any potential injuries.
-
We don't need to play well, we just need to find a way to win. Liverpool have done this so many times this season winning games in the last 5 mins, even when they are struggling. I think the cup win gives us that bit of assurance a winning side always carries.
-
Not bad. A Man U win would have been ideal, but a draw is still a bonus, I expected City to find a win.
-
It's only because of FFP that we have to even consider signings like Barnes as so called mistakes. Barnes has been a success mostly, if we were allowed to keep our players like Minteh and not be forced into ridiculous swaps like the Anderson/Vlachos debacle, we'd be in an even better position. FFP has been terrible for us, whatever benefits it might have had for other clubs.
-
It's an ageing team, a lot of the players who won them trophies are on their way out, one way or the other. De Bryne, Walker, Gundogan just to name a few.
-
If it saves him for the rest of the season I would take it tbh. Not worth risking him for the sake of one game, and while I don't have a load of confidence in either Wilson or Osula as alternatives, we should have enough about us to get a win against Leicester even without Isak.
-
Don't fancy that much either tbh. We need to wrap Isak in cotton wool basically.
-
Feels like CL is in reach, but we are reliant on Isak being fit for the run in. If he misses any games, I don't fancy us much with Wilson up top.
-
There's only nine games left. A win by any means is gold.
-
They are playing a bit better now tbh. Still look a bit powder puff, but they have good footballers and they can string some nice stuff together.
-
He's looked a top player in the last few games tbh. I had him pegged as just a finisher, but he's really clever when he's in possession, and Gordon coming back in shouldn't be a formality.
-
Yes, Barnes impressed me generally, but was very happy to see he wasn't starstruck and was giving Isak a dressing down for not passing earlier.
-
He's sometimes painful to watch as a footballer, but this season has been a success and he's played his part. Not a great footballer, but that right foot is a bit of a wand.
-
As one of our trohy era legends, he has earned that contract twice over.
-
If you expect Howe to share that opinion, you'll be sadly disappointed. Howe still trusts Wilson even when he's not got the mobility required for our game these days. He's still sniffing out half chances so I guess Howe will be hoping that he starts taking them when we have to use him instead of Isak in the run in.
-
Would be great if they didn't make CL though. A good wad of money down the pan with no return.
