Just need one of these to drop to Wilson.
-
Fucking hell, Reya's saved them 3 times already.
-
Playing well enough without Isak, just need someone to apply a decent finish and we can definitely get something from this.

Feels like Forest have lucked out somewhat.

Callum Wilson: offered 'incentive-based' contract extension (Ornstein)
TRon replied to Strawberry's topic in Football
A goal today would wipe out all the negative comments aimed his way since his return. -
That is true, Isak has been very subdued lately, obviously playing with an injury. On the other hand, he's one of the few strikers in the PL who has made Arsenal's defenders look ordinary. Don't fancy Wilson to have much impact unfortunately.
-
I'd still rather they lost.

The way I look at it, we get two bites at the cherry. If we don't win today, it will be nice to have a chance to put it right against Everton at home.
-
Don't blame him for going back on the drink tbh, if it makes him feel better about Arsenal then it should be counted as medicinal.

Yeah Joelinton's shoes are pretty big to fill, that's why I'm not that surprised that Howe turns to Willock. He might not have the phsyical presence, but he does cover the left flank pretty well. I think the 3 centre back/wing back combo is the next best thing with our current squad.
-
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this.
-
Will need to be a midfielder who can pull wide left as well if we are looking for someone to step in for Joelinton. Willock has been underwhelming this season when he's been fit, but we don't really have anyone else in the current squad who can do it. Unless you count Lewis Hall.
-
I think Daniel Levy probably wants him to win a trophy less than you do.
-
Agree, already said last week that I have no problem selling Willock and using that money to buy an understudy for Joelinton. Willock has a lot of attributes, but he's out for long periods, then when he does come back in he's had little impact.
-
Never mind, just checked and there's a couple of years left so not going to be leaving for a pittance.
-
Not sure he's Emery's type of player tbh.
-
I'm not saying he's a bad manager, just don't think there's enough to go on just yet. It's basically Klopp's team, and it's performed worse the longer the season has gone on. He can only really be judged on his own merit from next season.
-
Had to check which league he was managing in tbh. Polish top flight? To be fair, they might still stop at chip shops and top up on a case of lager from the off licences on the coaches back home over there.
-
Slot basically took over a winning team and arguably made them worse the longer the season went on. I think there is no outstanding candidate other than Howe, and I like to think I'm fairly even handed.
-
Domestic cup competitions will rightly be lower priority than CL or PL fixtures. Winning a cup was vital this season, now it's done we are not so desperate any more, and we can use these competitions to rotate and get some vital game time for squad players. This alone makes them very important in their own right, especially if we have upgraded our squad.

More chance of the FA getting sued for disrepute of a cartel club if they even contemplated it.
-
Not arsed really since I don't take most links that seriously.
-
Yeah but they obviously couldn't get past thinking ours was better.

Like that one, but then I'm a big fan of our current crest which Sunderland tried to copy in basic design. They stuck a couple of lions either side of the badge instead of unicorns I think.
