That's not really anything to do with my point. We're perennial relegation contenders at this point. I'd prefer we got relegated and had some interesting players/player stories, than just get in a bunch of randoms to see us through to the end of the season, only to be fucked again next year.

Quite happy with these two signings, but it's not like we've signed Pogba and Busquets here Busquets is 27 why would we want him

Meaty Mick doesn't know dick
-
Of course we are, he wanted out and ensured he played badly and made no attempt to win games. He had a couple of games to put himself in the shop window and did everything he could to lose us the games. What does that tell you about his attitude. Good riddance indeed. Finally a true replacement for Cabaye

Same thing happens every time. "Were signing James Perch, lets see what Forest fans say!" Forest Fans - "He's shit" "Bitter cunts, bet he's class" 6 months later "I'd rather watch an England game than see James Perch in an NUFC shirt ever again"

it's pronounced hyon-yo in his native mordor

Too many people desperate to grasp anything that looks 'good' I'm not desperate to grasp Jonjo Shelvey like. It's just that money is pretty much irrelevant to us as fans nowadays. Fees are defined by far more than a playing ability, and generally the money involved is a tiny proportion of what comes in from Sky anyway. And comparisons with other transfer fees barely even work, because people don't have/consider the full picture. No wage information, no bonus information, vague contract length details, and let's not forget the most important factor of all, potential resale value. Just seems a better idea to discuss how he's a lazy son of a gun who went full Carver about 3 days ago.

Who the fuck cares what the price is. What difference does it make?

Bored of short term. We've been doing short term for years now. Our cycle is pretty much "do fuck all" -> "nearly go down" -> "panic buy" -> "survive by skin of teeth", and then repeat. The only chance of me getting any enjoyment is if we play our own players and look like we're doing something useful as a club. Loaning mercenaries doesn't appeal to me.
-
That's fair enough, as long as he was involved a decent amount. But I don't really care if we get relegated or not, so that doesn't concern me much. I'm far more interested in seeing us play our younger prospects and see if they come good than having us be rescued by rando loanees.
-
Find it difficult to imagine 6 months starting could ever be worse than 6 months not playing. But either way, I have no interest in loaning players. Shouldn't even be allowed as far as I'm concerned, and it'll do nothing for us in the long run. Never mind loaning a player we've already loaned (and failed to sign) once.
-
I'd prefer to persist with him than loan in someone like Remy. What's the point in that? We let another prospect go to shit for short term gain? Meh.

and a keeper and a manager and an owner and a chairman

Missed the deadline to play on Thuesday unfortunately
-
Jonjo has 18 long shots? Get him over the line ffs
-
What strikers do they have on their books ? Mitrovic is also. They've got plenty of players on their books I'd be happy with.

Looked at Today's date and got my hopes up that it was Whednesday already

He's Catholic and has a baby. That's why he's married.
-
I mean, we are small time cunts that won't compete. Let's embrace it. Just enjoy what we are. Useless filler cunts. Being allowed to play against the big boys each week should be prize enough for you.

(but obv it's all irrelevant anyway because Mike Ashley)

This was posted too All of this shit is probably true. He's probably utter shit. I personally don't really know. What I do know, is that he isn't Jack fucking Colback, so I'd rather give him a try, hope he's not shit, and then 2 months down the line, start hating him too.

Classic "Need a striker, defender, midfielder, winger and keeper? I know - lets sign a cut price midfielder and ignore everything else!"

At least he's scored some goals. Connor Wickham went for £7m-£9m and has barely scored at any level.

Would probably be a little miffed if I was Benteke like.
