I'd much rather give our existing unproven shite a run in the side than spunk away money on someone who has so far proven to be ineffective in the premier league, even if people like to pretend otherwise for some reason.

Far too much shit in the squad to justify getting rid of him iyam. We're still sitting on Gouffran AND Obertan ffs.
-
We're shitcunts.

NBC is doing a 4 part series called "Behind the Badge", all behind the scenes at Crystal Palace. There's no chance it does anything other than make Palace/Pards look magical.

Gary O'Neil's red card madness

I reckon the player tends to be the one to decide whether they should have surgery or not like. Like fuck I'd be letting Derek and Steve decide whether I went under the knife or not.

a poor finisher "at the moment". We've had him for six months. We've been god fucking awful, and he has played in about half of the games. We do not have a sample size big enough to say he's a poor finisher, given we do not know if his lack of deadliness in front of goal is form related or skill related yet. I know everyone seems to love making mega aggressive statements of fact, but it's just nonsense and I've got no time for it whatsoever. Fucking football forum man. Painful.

think it's very harsh to judge his finishing based upon the 5 chances we've created since September

both teams just shit enough to make for a decent game

It's 2008 again. Wayne Rooney scored a goal.

Why wasn't Capn Jack SetPiece taking the pen?
-
COMPLETELY missed the award of the pen. Mitrooogol

just saw his little fetal position flop, more quality. Jigsaw 2.0.
-
Colback when he had no backward pass to make. Fully blue screened.
-
Colback. Fucking useless.
-
Completely agree. Get Sterry on.
-
Cisse def would've done the same there imo. Probably even better.

Honestly, I don't care about the semantics here. We drop players within about 4 games if they've not destroyed the entire league (whilst simultaneously managing to ALWAYS TRACK BACK), and we revert to the same old cloggers. Then when it turns out we're still really fucking shit, we go on a moderate spending spree, rather than just preparing properly in the first place. Loaning players is another step in the direction of immediate gain, purely to help us drag ourselves to the end of the season without going down. What's the point? It's worthless. We're not competing for anything, we're not trying to do anything. So I'm scraping the barrel massively to find any joy in NUFC whatsoever, and replacing a young hopeful player with a double-dip loanee striker is just another erosion of my enjoyment levels.
