  1. He featured.. then guess what happened?
  2. Google Calendar reminder email just arrived telling me there's a game in 20 hours. Reminder was v necessary
  3. The normal mind agrees. The Arsene-mind sees an out-of-favour cut-price younger player who he can throw onto the left-wing for a year or two of anonymous performances. After that period ends, Arsene will then make a genius move by playing Sahin centrally, where he'll play significantly better. 2 years later he will be sold for £23m.
  4. "United will pay £22.5m, with a further £1.5m one-off bonus to follow if they win a Premier League or Champions League title in the next four years." Just hand over the £24m man. Man Utd haven't gone 5 years without a PL trophy since real football was born ffs.

    Papiss Cissé

We are the 16.7 percent. Kinda catchy. (well, "We" doesn't include you) People who voted 12+ were being cheeky internet sods, people who voted the category 9-12 were the ones who had genuine non-humourous faith in him! #winning Cheeky internet sods

    Players in public

Probably just a boatload more effort to get someone to give you them for free when you can just pony up less than 1% of your weekly wage to buy them.

    Nile Ranger

whoa man smashing up his range is one thing, but marginally invading his personal space? thats bang out of order mate. I want nothing more to do with this.

28 minutes ago he tweeted he was off to ASDA. We need agents to get down there and smash up his range. He didn't specify which ASDA though. Calling anyone based around Benton/Gosforth/Gateshead/OtherplaceshwereASDAsare Get there, find a ridiculous looking range rover, smash it up good.

    MLS

Union traded Pajoy for Danny Cruz. Don't know shit about Cruz other than he's 5ft 8. I'm assuming the MLS offers bonuses for having the worlds shortest strikeforce, given that Pajoy was probably the only striker Union have taller than 5ft 9.
  17. Thank fuck for that. Was seriously worried we'd start the season without an official betting partner.
  18. Whilst this is very true, our XI hasn't been that far off a bit of sweet jesus for some time. It's when the injuries hit that we start looking suspect. Elliott Tav/Raylor Perch Williamson Ferguson Bigi gosling/abeid amalfitano/jonas jonas/sammy marv/fishbulb BIG SHOLS (tbh, its better than I was expecting, but mainly in MF. GK/DF/ST all suspect)
  19. Pards is definitely from the Fergie school of pre-match mind-games. All of these 'doubtful' players will start, or at the very least be on the bench. Krul Simpson Taylor Colo Santon Tiote Anita Cabaye HBA Ba/Marv Cisse Potential for Jonas to swap in for HBA or DS.

http://i.imgur.com/MEGC5.jpg Martin O'Neill has bolstered his forward line by completing the signing of French striker Louis Saha. The 34-year-old, who was a free agent after leaving Tottenham Hotspur, has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the Stadium of Light. He is available for selection for Sunderland's trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal this weekend. Manager Martin O'Neill said: "Louis is a striker whose abilities have been proven at the very highest level and he brings with him a raft of experience of top-flight football. "I'm sure he will be a great addition to our squad in an area we recognise needs strengthening and I'm delighted we have been able to complete the deal ahead of our first game of the season." Saha first arrived in England in 1999 when he joined Newcastle on loan from Metz before heading back to France. He returned to the UK on a permanent basis in 2000, joining Fulham, and was a big hit at Craven Cottage, scoring 64 goals in 144 games. Manchester United paid £12.8m for the Paris-born frontman in January 2004 and he chipped in with 42 goals in 124 games for the Red Devils before moving on to Everton in September 2008. He spent just under three and a half years at Goodison Park, playing 115 games for the Merseyside outfit and finding the net on 35 occasions. Saha moved south to Tottenham on January transfer deadline day and made 12 appearances for the London club during the second half of the 2011-12, scoring three times before leaving at the end of the campaign.
