  1. Aye. S'free streaming online too. Legal and all that shit.
  2. I'm still holding out hope that Xisco will turn up to training a new man, bang in 30 goals and take us to our first trophy in 600 years.
  3. Ultimately, you should be willing to pay whatever price you feel a player is worth, but the last year of the contract factor is undoubtedly a very useful bargaining tool.
  4. 6 nil home defeat, Bendtner double hat-trick.
  5. If I could be bothered, I would go find the "We could finish ahead of Arsenal this season" thread that was started at the beginning of our relegation season. I refuse to write off Arsenal, no matter who they sell.
  6. I guess given this is the apparent "Last big transfer window" before financial fair-play shit kicks in (even if it is bound for failure), City and other bankrolled teams will be spending some big dollar.
  7. Oh well. I wonder if Man City will brave attempting to score goals next season?
  8. Could be clichy also like. Fucking twitter.
  9. Or just check Twitter... my prediction... Manchester City have meeting arranged with Samir Nasri's agent today.
  10. Why does it look that way? Have I missed some form of "We're not signing any more strikers" announcement? If Pardew believes our main striker is an as yet unsigned addition to the 'out-and-out goalscorer' he's expecting 15-25 goals from then I can only assume he also expects us to be going for the top four. So you've managed to turn Pardew's efforts to instill confidence in Ba, into a negative by claiming it means we're not interested in signing another striker as our "main" striker. I don't think it matters who is defined as our main striker anyway, if we sign someone of similar level to Ba, that'd be fine with me, one does not have to be clearly defined as the number 1 strike-option as far as I'm concerned. And I'd still say I expect 15-25 goals from both of them, likelihood is one will turn out to be shite anyway.
  11. Agreed. It's more about where we're battling for than anything. I'd just like to be closer to battling for 7th place than being in the pack who could end anywhere from 8th-14th like this season.
  12. Expecting anything vaguely balanced from *some* people is where you're going wrong. Just ignore it. Constant doom-mongering.

    Sunderland...

No, no he didn't. Yes, yes he did.
  15. Aye, was considered. Only reason I didn't is because I would prefer to see Ferguson on LW, and I wanted another defender on the bench. Either would be good in reality. I prefer him, and he's settled in the team as far as I'm concerned. But again, another thing that would be changeable as the season goes on.
  16. Krul Simpson Colo Williamson Enrique Barton Tiote Cabaye Jonas Ben Arfa Ba Bench: Forster Saylor Raylor Gosling Marveaux Best Ameobi Wingers would rotate with Marveaux, or he'd come in for a more attacking option, replacing a CM and putting Ben Arfa in a attacking centre mid position. Plus, Marveaux's injury record keeps me from putting him as a starting XI member. I don't think there's anything all that controversial there.

    Sunderland...

It's certainly an ambitious signing, and the right kind of ambitious signing for a club like Sunderland - rather than spunking 80k p/w on some Luque equivalent. But it is a big gamble as far as their strikeforce goes for next season. It's the right way to go to throw him in at the deep-end IMO, but there is still a good chance he'll sink. We shall see.

    Sunderland is shit.

    Sunderland...

tbf, it's not hard to make 'good business' after Liverpool have ridiculously overpaid for one of your players. If we get another striker in for around the £10m mark, we've made fantastic business out of the Carroll fun imo.
  20. His fitness record has been fine in the second half of last season. He still doesn't score goals tho.
  21. http://www.footballshirtculture.com/images/Bournemouth-11-12-fila-home-football-kit-d.jpg even Bournemouth can afford stripes on their kit
  22. I'm sold. Fucking Mike Ashley. He just can't resist a quick buck. Where you off to? Glory Glory?
  23. IMO that rates Dann at something nearer £15.75m. Fucking Cameron Jerome. Pulis must be using FIFA 11 for his research.
