If that's close to the team that lines up against England then Roy can forget about the win. Especially seeing as we've called up Martin Kelly at Right Back and Jack Butland as Goalkeeping cover and seemingly are unaware of the existence of Micah Richards??? Yep, it is quite baffling how Richards is still being overlooked. f***'s sake. Canny, will most likely go down to the bookies tomorrow and put a fiver/tenner on France winning the Euros...

Could see how Forster does in pre-season I guess (despite last year's being, quite frankly, a bit of a forgetful time for him) before we make a proper decision about his future here. Otherwise, best of luck to him for the future. Is it just me or will Forster be another one of those keepers who just have "ordinary" careers?

It isnt but not bad isnt good enough for Pardew and with good reason some of the best sides in world football are just as good without the ball as they are without it at the top level its a must.... If Hoilett where to come here he would have to improve his defensive side just like Ben Arfa did. Also yes if everyone stayed and we signed Mbiwa and Debuchy id be delighted. Can definitely see the Scousers' high expectations destroying Martinez. But, having said that, think Martinez will be better equipped to manage Liverpool than Roy - that is, he'll last longer than Hodgson.

I stand by this post. Demba's going nowhere and my reasoning is above. Really don't understand why some people would be content with him leaving. From the posts about him being our best striker since Shearer to what's being said now man! Fickleness ftw eh? Fucking hell.

He will get booed, but only during the game. I expect him to get some sort of applause pre and post match (much like the reception he got from our fans at Loftus Road this season). He left on somewhat good terms with the fans, it was the board he didn't get along with. IMHO, the main reason he's hated more these days are his Twitter antics and of course his shitness/craziness on the pitch.

I'd bring him in. We need a bigger squad and he would be definitely be a decent option to have. The fact he's on a free too is a good enough reason for me.

Out for almost a third of the season then. Silly, silly man. Will be surprised if he plays at all next season tbh. Bench duty beckons really.

Matty Pattison started games, that alone leaves a sour taste. I still think 04/05 was the worst. Things just went from bad to worse. From 5th to 14th. Everyone I liked at the club were leaving. Dyer and Bellamy fought on the pitch. We signed Amdy Faye and Boumsong. Shola played right midfield. It was actually Dyer and Bowyer but I suppose your point still stands. That was a truly embarrassing and ultimately shameful day for the club (especially when people were saying that Souness was a "strong disciplinarian").
