He left on somewhat good terms with the fans, it was the board he didn't get along with. IMHO, the main reason he's hated more these days are his Twitter antics and of course his shitness/craziness on the pitch.

I'd bring him in. We need a bigger squad and he would be definitely be a decent option to have. The fact he's on a free too is a good enough reason for me.

Matty Pattison started games, that alone leaves a sour taste. I still think 04/05 was the worst. Things just went from bad to worse. From 5th to 14th. Everyone I liked at the club were leaving. Dyer and Bellamy fought on the pitch. We signed Amdy Faye and Boumsong. Shola played right midfield. It was actually Dyer and Bowyer but I suppose your point still stands. That was a truly embarrassing and ultimately shameful day for the club (especially when people were saying that Souness was a "strong disciplinarian").

The way 06/07 fizzled out was actually soul-destroying. The main plus of that season was Martins.

Tbf to him, Roeder used the reserves/youth players quite effectively (to a certain point anyway). I remember his celebration of disbelief when Edgar scored against Man U.

No way Wigan will let Moses go for £4million, like. That old c*** Whelan is very astute when it comes to selling players. Same for Rodriguez - they'll be wanting £5/6mil+ for him. Moses - last year of contract and told Wigan he wants to go Rodriguez - Championship player and Burnley need the money PL clubs will not over pay, IMO Whelan hates us so will hold out for a lot of money. Plus, Moses has said no to us before and he could very well do it again (but on the other hand, he could have changed his mind after two years).
