This is pretty much how I feel about England these days. I'll still follow them closely but the number of pricks that are in the team has basically meant that my passion for England has declined. The sooner a/the new generation of players get into the team, the better.

We have been linked with Martin in the past actually so I reckon he is certainly a realistic target. A bright, young(ish) talent and he looks very neat on the ball - would be a good signing. Highly rated in France too from what I gather.

Got to say, I laughed when I first heard the news that Scholes was coming out of retirement. I thought it was a terrible move, I honestly thought that he was going to be a detriment to the Man U team (my main reason being that how could a 37 year old Paul Scholes possibly dictate play?) Obviously, I made a clear error in judgement. As soon as he got up to speed fitness-wise, Scholes really was like his old (brilliant) self. Fair play. (Still can't tackle though ).
