  1. Got to say Routledge did f*** all today (now where have we heard that before?).
  2. If you watched us on a weekly basis you would agree, but your opinion shall always be biased geordie and quickly brand him 's****'. Its starting. Looks like it.....

    Papiss Cissé

Seriously, that second goal :fwap: We've got a f***ing brilliant striker here, 9 goals in 8 games - what a start he's made to his NUFC career. He's shown so far that he's very much number 9 worthy
  4. Certainly had an off-day today. Got to say, I am a tiny bit worried No goals since the Villa game and that's a worry for any striker but then again, he's more than played his role in the team recently. He's been an important player for us in this new system and long may he continue to play and thrive there. Hmmm, probably for the best that I stop worrying actually. Like some people have said, it might be down to fatigue and all that. Really, as soon as he gets a goal, he should be fine.
  5. Fantastic result. Got to say the first half was a bit frustrating - after we got the first goal, Swansea proceeded to outpass us in an efficient way (80% possession ffs ) which led to us chasing the ball quite a bit. Another problem was that we couldn't hold onto possession (we gave the ball away so many times)! But ultimately in the end, Swansea just couldn't get a breakthrough - Sigurdsson's shot was the only real chance they had of scoring really. We were certainly better in the second half despite Swansea's good/urgent start. The main improvement from us in the second 45' was that we were better in keeping the ball and we defended quite well. What became increasingly evident though was the lack of bite from Swansea - it really cost them, they had all that possession yet they couldn't really make it count. As soon as Cissé got the second goal (and what a lovely goal that was), we became very comfortable and all we had to do was see out the game which we did. All in all, I'm very happy with today and getting a win at the Liberty Stadium (a place where they have a decent record at) is a great achievement. Well done to the players and Pardew

So Paxton, decent or not? Apart from his posts in the Tiote thread, seems to be a sensible enough poster......
  7. Had Cabaye in my team too, it's gone very well today. Up to 115th now.
  8. Paxton's definitely on the wind up tonight like. Colback > Tiote? Don't make me laugh!
  9. A disciplined performance from Davide today. His best defensive display by far. Well done lad
  10. Just got in from a drinking session in town, what is this Cattermole nonsense?
  11. It's on Dailymotion, just search for "Michael Owen's Return to St. James' Park" in google and it should pop up.
  12. Don't get me wrong, Debuchy would be a great signing but I would prefer us to sign a LB. Unless we're expecting/anticipating one of Ferguson or Santon to make the grade at LB within the next season or so, Debuchy signing would seem a bit unnecessary (as some people have pointed out, €11m is a bit too much too). I would like to see Santon getting an extended runout at RB too before we think about signing a new RB.

You won't be laughing when some clogger breaks him and the England fans go wild. Ah, don't be saying things like that! The image I'm getting in my head isn't pretty.

Wiki says the red and white stripes originated from Southampton. Mackems did play a role in forming the club though.
  15. He has a slight knock but an article in the Journal today said that he'll be fine for tomorrow.
  16. Haven't actually seen it but this seems to be his character: http://www.hotflick.net/flicks/2006_Basic_Instinct_2/006BIT_Stan_Collymore_003.jpg
  17. Brilliant goal by Gomez for Bilbao.
  18. Huntelaar with a decent enough finish.
