Sports Direct Trophy under threat I see.

I've got to say, it's really refreshing to see us actually moving quickly for once and bringing in a replacement of somewhat high-ish quality for a soon-to-be-departing first team player. Positive news I say.

My feelings exactly. Us signing De Jong and Cabella (with other incomings it seems) has given me some optimism for the coming season but you just know Pardew will find some way of ruining things.

It's absolutely criminal and quite frankly disgraceful how Pardew has essentially ruined Yanga-Mbiwa via his complete player mis-management. MYM is the one of the last players we should be selling! From being a highly rated CB in Europe to f***ing this...hopefully Mapou will bounce back and perform exceptionally well wherever he ends up so that Pardew is proven wrong (unfortunately though, Pardew probably won't give a f*** and rewrite history).

For the best really. He would have had to do a hell of a lot to win back the Brazilian fans' support if he had continued playing in the next few years...
