Looks like the Bordeaux fans don't rate him whatsoever. -

Okay, time to be positive about Shola despite my initial reaction. --> He will score the winner tonight. -
Not worried at all.

Interesting. Perhaps it's a role behind a front 2? That wouldnt be CM though would it? Maybe it will be a midfield 4 of... Raylor/Obertan----Guthrie----Barfa---Jonas Far more lively midfield which could help behind the turgid Strola. Looking at the players selected for midfield, Raylor's the most likely to play CM really. -

He's part of Ranger's posse I think. So I've heard. I remember someone saying that Kadar was a bit of a party animal
-
No he hasnt I think he has. From what I've seen, when Jonas has had a free role in the middle, he has been more of an influence on the game imo (Brighton game aside.....). He had a brief spell in such a role towards the end of the last season too, looked promising. I'd certainly play him there for an extended run.

Thought BAE got booked for that? (It was a blatant red card like). EDIT: Just found out, BAE wasn't even given a yellow card. Scandalous.

Don't think some of the refs these days would have much bottle to make such a decision imo.....

We'll nick it 1-0. -
Hoping for good news in the next couple of weeks or so. Aye, fingers crossed!
-
Well Blackburn did release him on a free transfer....
-
BBC Lancashire might have it on (don't really know like, just guessing btw!).

That's an absolute shame about Kadar. We do actually need him in the squad now considering our lack of cover at CB but if he is being let go, then I guess it is simply down to the case that Pardew and co. don't really rate him and don't think he's good enough to play in the PL. (I'd actually keep him around until the end of the season like).

I would like to see the system being changed into a 4-3-3/4-5-1 permanently. We certainly now have the personnel to make it really work (tbh Simpson being the long-term option for RB is questionable). It can also give us the option to switch to a 4-4-2 during a game (if necessary).

I'd like to see this team (that is if we go for a 4-3-3 type formation): Krul Simpson Williamson Colo Santon Guthrie Abeid Ben Arfa Jonas Lovenkrands Best If we go for a 4-4-2 (which I can see Pardew going for tbh), then: Krul Simpson Williamson Colo Santon Ben Arfa Abeid Guthrie Jonas Best Lovenkrands -
Well Leeds' form of late has been unspectacular. Losing 4-1 at home was the final straw I guess.
-
Huh, interesting. Wasn't really aware of this.

Oh well. At least he wasn't given a 4 game ban for denying the charge. A two game ban would have been more appropriate though instead of the standard 3 match ban. Hopefully, Cabaye will learn from this. He really needs to calm down a little and make sure he doesn't get properly frustrated which causes him to lash out at opposing players. Yes, he was on the receiving end of a lot of bad tackles from the Brighton players (and of course Derry) but let's be frank, the physicality of the English game is a lot higher than in France so tackles will come flying in from every direction. Of course, the FA's consistency with these kind of incidents is dreadful and they really need to revamp the way they hand out retrospective bans too.
