Pardew did mention that Ben Arfa will play some part on Wednesday against WBA. Hope it's a starting position (unlikely though).
In any case when the AcoN comes along, that's really Ben Arfa's chance to prove to Pardew why he's deserving of a place in the starting line up. Like Fenham Mag, I'm confident the lad will take his chance.
No thanks, really don't want him here. Sure he is talented but I'd worry about his influence on team spirit (ie. he'd more than likely be a detriment on team morale....).
Would definitely take Samba. Though don't think Blackburn will let him go considering their relegation battle.
Like I said, I wouldn't mind Cahill either.
Samba is the preferred option but I'd be happy with either one of them really.
I'd go with this too. But like you've said, Pardew is more than likely going to go with Obertan.
Pardew did said that Ben Arfa would be "involved in some capacity" on Wednesday.
Like The Prophet said though, Cahill is more than likely going to end up at Spurs. Can see it being a battle between Liverpool and Spurs for Cahill's signature really.
Would have been in line with his alleged obsession with only playing him in the middle, or as a number 10.
Yep. So it's quite puzzling why Ben Arfa didn't come on
I guess we'll see on Tuesday in the Journal about the whole situation. Hmmm.
That's odd considering that there was a story in the French press about a couple of months ago saying that Ben Arfa stays behind after training to work on his fitness.
I'm under the impression that the lad really wants to play plus he should have that incentive of trying to make the Euro 2012 French squad (probably an outside chance admittedly). Hopefully we'll see him on Wednesday.
The People with their "story".
Douglas' tweet is a bit worrying but I guess like Skeletor has said, it'll probably be Bassong considering his history with us.
Admittedly this was so apart from his free kick for Colo's chance. Still a few great balls from him, like that one to Best which led to Ba's chance hitting the post. Will be a miss on Wednesday but like Disco said, he could do with a rest.
Surely Pardew has seen the light now? Santon has to start from now on. Okay, he hasn't really been tested defensively yet but I'm confident he'll do well.
I didn't chat to anyone but saw a few famous faces. Got the lift up with Lovenkrands, his misses and kids. Saw Beardsley, Dabizas, Mick Martin, Beresford and Shearer.
