  1. Keep calm, surely Pardew will see fit to start Gosling like considering he has actually had more game time than Smith. We'll see Smith on the bench though.

Ah, the typical RTG response Though he spelled mag kernt wrong.

I haven't watched it yet but he could have mentioned it in the video in Beren's post. Though looks like the article itself implies Pardew blames Dean.

If Dean is to blame, so is Pardew for overloading our defence by not addressing the Raylor problem. Aye Beren, reasonable thing to say there.
  6. No. People made that point earlier. The overriding impression though is Suarez is a cheating t***. Absolutely this.

I've heard rumour that NUST,The Mag and the NUFC.COM boys have all been covertly invited into the inner sanctum of SJP very recently. It will be very interesting to see if there is a mellowing of views from those invited. Otherwise will any reveal the purpose of said visit? Huh, interesting..... The Club will be looking to appoint a Supporters’ Liaison Officer, which will be a requirement of all Premier League clubs from 2012/2013 season. Lets so who gets the gig. Did Bob Moncur not get this a few months back? Ah yeah, it was mentioned but no official confirmation as such.
  8. Dalglish should be fined/punished by the FA tbh. I'm sure there's a "bringing the game into disrepute charge" somewhere.

That's Rooney definitely off to the Euros then. Canny actually.

Ah right, well guess that explains those invitations to all those mentioned above. Out of the three, can see .com being the least likely to get the gig imo.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

It's been mentioned before but playing Ben Arfa on the wing could also help with building up his confidence (ie. running at and beating defenders mainly).

Europe? In all seriousness though, 7th should be a realistic target and that could very well become an Europa League spot come the end of the season. So Pardew may actually meet his target.....we shall see!
  14. Would f***ing love it. Aye, would be a real eye opener but Dalglish will probably say that the footage was fabricated and altered.
  15. Seriously, fuck off Kenny.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

From Pards' recent interview. Can't say I agree with that myself, will usually play 4-4-2 I would guess so not many minutes for him. Can't see how you can justify players like Obertan and Lovenkrands playing out wide instead of HBA Please reconsider Alan. You can't restrict Ben Arfa to just that one role especially when he has played on the wing for most of his career.
  17. Positive news that he's in contention for the Norwich game but if he's 50-50 then I would probably give him a rest. No point in risking him if it knacks him in the long term. If the physios and Colo think he can play without aggravating his injury, then by all means start him against Norwich. If he doesn't play, then I'm fine with that, it'll mean he'll be in a position to play against Swansea at pretty much 100%.
  18. I'd start Gosling tbh and bring Abeid on in the second half at some point.
  19. The man has certainly done a great job in a year. When he was first appointed, I was completely against his appointment especially when he was replacing the well-liked Chris Hughton. But he's certainly changed my opinion of him in the space of the year and fair play to him for winning me and pretty much all the fans over. I particularly like the attention to detail he puts into the job, his hands-on approach and his high level of involvement to the cause to NUFC. His interviews are always refreshing to listen to too. He's pretty much always honest in his assessment and doesn't talk a lot of bullshit. I like that. Keep up the good work Pards
  20. Exactly but it's still worrying times that we might have to bring on Smith at some point......

Oh, f***ing happy days. One of our better players in the last month or so, this injury is the last thing we needed. Guess it's time for Gosling/Abeid to step up to the plate. We'll probably see Gosling start on Saturday actually.
