😂 I thought something similar as I was writing that.

Strange comment. Suarez is primarily an out and out striker and is actually 27. Yeremay is only 22. At the same age he hadn't made anywhere near the impact Yeremay has this year.
-
I'd definitely consider three at the back here. I'd do something similar to the Arsenal home game in the LC semi. As mentioned above, Schär stepping out of the three with Bruno and Tonali holding. Bypass the midfield if we have to (like the LC final) and let the front three do their thing. I'd bring Gordon back in, probably for Barnes. Let's hope for an Eddie masterclass.

Exactly. As although Chelsea could still pass us on GD they'd have to beat Forest to do that, meaning the best Forest could get would be 69, and they'd have to overturn a nine goals difference. One of them could pass us but not both. That may even improve tonight if Forest don't beat Palace.
-
They've just come back up from the third tier. Were down there several years, like Sunderland.
-
Not a rumour but would anyone take Yeremay from Deportivo La Coruña? Second tier but another two goals and an assist yesterday. Tearing up that league and wouldn't cost the earth. Down as a winger here but can play as a ten.
-
If Liverpool and Palace can do their bit now we could all but confirm it with a win next week.
-
Don't mind Brighton. No great feelings either way. If you're not including Villa in the cartel then it's 100% Villa for me. Can't stand them. Everton a close second. Disliked Liverpool under Klopp but less so now.

Didn't have my glasses on. Thought you were calling him an arse.

I think if you get those in then both Wilson and Vlachodimos could leave without any issues.

Yeah, think so. I was 18. Had had season tickets in the Milburn (level with the Gallowgate 18 yard box) with my parents until the end of the previous season. We gave my ticket up when I went to university in the September, and then about eight games in (when we realised it was going to be a sellout) decided to buy a standing season ticket in the paddock for me for whenever I made it back up. Got soaked that day. 😂

My mate's a Spurs fan and he stuck a bet on months ago that Spurs would lose to Man U in the final. Wins him about £600 if it comes in. He's obviously hoping it doesn't but he's been convinced for ages that's what's happening.
-
No interest in Spurs but was watching Man U. Not any more. Forest v Brentford it is.
-
I'll be somewhere in the bottom left of that photo standing in the Milburn Paddock, soaking wet.

I think it may be slightly easier than if they needed the points, but I agree their players will not just sack off the rest of their games. There's no UCL final or FA Cup final to rest up for, and no international summer tournament. Usually the phrase is that if you're not at 100% you'll lose in the Premier League. I think Liverpool might be at 95% but they'll still have enough to take at least a point off a misfiring Chelsea. Mind you, I thought Chelsea would drop points at Fulham so what do I know?
-
Unless Spurs do something out of character, yes.
-
Forest got two tricky games coming up. Not convinced they'll win either.
-
Agree - at this point I think the simplest way to fix VAR would be give each team one review a game (retained if upheld) and have no officials in the booth, just a technician to show the ref the angles etc he requests. The ref is then not influenced by a peer and is the sole arbiter. Would save a fortune on officials too, but that's why they won't do it.
-
Yep - next three are Arsenal, Villa and Man City. Think that might get overturned though.
-
That'll get overturned. Only the ref and VAR know what they are doing there.

Has vibes of the That's Life stuffed cat - 11-year-old me couldn't breathe when they unveiled that:

I was kind of expecting a loss at Villa and would have absolutely taken a point before kick off, but I'm more confident for Brighton. Tough game sure, but they needed a couple of worldies to beat a poor West Ham team yesterday. If Eddie and the team get the tactics right I'm hoping for at least a point.
-
I'd love it, love it if we beat them...
-
Think City will beat Wolves but it won't be a walkover. Wolves have a very streaky fixture list this season so their unbeaten six match run has been Southampton, West Ham, Ipswich, Spurs, Man U and Leicester. Literally the bottom six. They'll have taken confidence from that but City will have too much for them at home. Fulham away will be the tricky one.

Watching MotD and there are a fair few empty seats at the AMEX. Is that normal? End of season apathy?
