Their is no way you can blame Duff for Zog's drop in form. Zog has been rubbish this year but that has nothing to do with Duff.

Three Newcastle related rumours in today's people. Firstly, Curbishly wants to sign Scott Parker and will offer Reo-Coker in exchange in attempt to get him. Secondly, John Carew's agents were on tyneside this week discussing a loan or a small money move to Newcastle. And finally, Liverpool will attempt to sign David Villa and if successful Newcastle will buy Peter Crouch for £7m. To be honest don't think their is that much truth in any of them but their worth a read I suppose.

Yep. More league goals than the rest of the midfield put together............not bad for someone so hopeless? Dyer 2 + Duff 1 + Emre 1 = 4 Parker 3 = 3

Krul was promoted to 3rd choice keeper.

Under the NUFC world video clip on the official site in says in the tag line it says he has had his contract renewed. Anyone got anymore info?

Presume not as Boro are playing.
-
Will be embarressing if Boro can't beat Charlton.

Had a bad reaction with his knee, is doubtful for Bolton. Babayaro is injured, thank god.

Lets be honest everybody likes a drink and for the most part it is harmless. However guns have only one purpose and that is to kill people.

Roeder already said no matter what Milner won't be sold.

It's not about what's fair and what isn't. This is a football club and we need the best players playing wherever we can get them, if it means another decent player has to drop to the bench then so be it.

SWP is a terrific footballer and if we can bring him in for 6 months then that's great. Solano is too old and slow to be playing a full 90 minutes in right midfield and as much as I love Milner, SWP is a much better player.

Happy to see him go, providing we replace him.

Polygon, the company which is considering a rival bid for Newcastle, has financial links with arms companies. (Daily Express) Haven't read the whole article but I for one want our club to have nothing to do with a company that deals with arms companies.

As for Coco. We signed him on loan and then a week later he decided he didn't like England and fucked off back to Italy, so the loan was cancelled.

I'm not really expecting CL just yet. We are in a rebuilding period and as long as we continue to make progress and build up the squad I'll be happy.
-
On the plus side all we are doing is bringing him in to train with us for a week and their is certainly no harm in that.
-
Never seen him play but fron the .com report and the wikipedia site it seems like he is a striker who can't score.
-
Wasn't my first choice but he's done a good job so far.

Whereas as Butt, who gave away the free kick and had several other dodgy moments, is a siant.

If Sibs cant play 30mins tonight he wants shooting. If GR couldn't see we needed to change it at 60mins as we were slipping he needs shooting. If you cant see the above two facts then you need... Problem is with Carling Cup, you don't know it was going to be just 30 mins, if it goes to extra time he's gonna have to play 60 mins. I'd rather keep him fresh for the weekend and then Tuesday.
-
Blaming Parker and Roeder. From my piont of view you couldn't have done anything differently, you set up an attacking side and Chelsea will rip us apart. Plus people forget Sibbers is 31, he'll do well to get through all 4 games in the festive periodwithout playing tonight. If you want to piont fingers blame the linesman who denied us the goal, Solano for getting skinned by Robben and Butt for giving away the free kick. Really however no blame should be put anywhere, it was a respectable performance against a far superior side and we were only beaten by a wonder goal.

Gonna delay the whole Carling cup as there is no free date for them until the 8th, which is when the first leg of the semi finals is due to be played.
