McCoist has gone to Rangers with Smith. I guess Scotland gonna have to find a new manager from scratch. At least Souness is available for them.
-
To be honest their is a bit of a difference between playing in a freindly and actually being offered to manage of the big 2 in Scotland.
-
Doing the right thing in a way by saying this. The last thing we want is these kids to start thinking they are superstars when they've only played a handful of games.

Link United were linked with Birmingham centre-half Matthew Upson, West Ham's Anton Ferdinand and Chris Riggott of Middlesbrough today, but none of this trio is on Roeder's wanted list. So he's not interested in Anton, I think that sorts this debate out then.
-
If this is true, then that should end our interest! Why because he is unhappy that he hasn't played single game this season? I'd be unhappy if I was a pro footballer and I didn't get a single game until after Christmas.
-
Urgh, seriously? He was sh*te at Wolves, Celtic & West Ham! He was excellent last night but I could have made Paletta look a numpty. Haven't ever seen him before but if he was crap at those clubs I doubt he'd make it here.

Why? We are not going to mount any serious challenge this year are we? The way I see it if we buy younger palyers we will be better off in a few years when they develop. Like with when we signed Jenas, Lua-Lua, Bramble, Viana, O'Brien & Ambrose you mean? Yes. My personal opinion is that Jenas was and still is a very good player it's just he fell out with Souness and fell out of love with the city. As for Lua-Lua I think we would all take him back in a heartbeat right now to be out bakcup striker. Bramble has never filled his potential but then again that could probobly be siad about any defender we have signed in the last decade bar Woodgate. Viana and O'Brien were definete failures although I would have liked to see Viana given more of a chance. As for Ambrose I actually rated him as a backup midfielder, he was never gonna make it as a starter every week but i would definetly take him back to add depth to the central midfield area.

Diarra is about Makelele's size, maybe slightly taller. As for my view on Huntington and Edgar to me they both look very incomplete at the minute. Both of them seem to be solid at LB, don't get forward much but don't make too many mistakes, however Huntington must take the blame for a fair few of our goals recently when he has played CB recently.

Warnock is better than Babayaro. That Aladiere lad looked good for Arsenal. Wouldn't mind him on loan for the rest of the season.
-
I'd sign him on loan until the end of the season or for a very small amount.
-
Link The Journal understands that manager Glenn Roeder is confident he will be able to confirm the signing of a new defender tomorrow, with Chelsea's young Frenchman Lassana Diarra the latest name to set the transfer grapevine buzzing. Begin speculation as to who the defender is.
-
For those who subscribe is it any good? I'm considering subscribing with other ways of listening to games becoming fewer each week. How much extra content does it have?
-
Because he ruined this club. He took us from potential CL contenders to a mid-table mediocrity. He sold all our best talent and a lot of our good young players and replaced them with idiots like Boumsong, Faye and Luque.

I love watching games at the ground. However at home I could never be stuck behind the goal, just because the view is crap and there is no atmosphere ot make up for it. For away games though the atmosphere makes up for the bad view.
-
Link But the only talk United and Chelsea have been involved in during the past few days is whether Jose Mourinho would let his French midfielder Lassana Diarra come to St James' on loan. The 21-year-old Diarra, who is a former colleague of Charles N'Zogbia at Le Havre, cannot break into the Chelsea midfield because of the wealth of talent at Mourinho's disposal, and he could be allowed to move on this month.

Definetly a fantasy. There is no chance of there only ever being 3 year contracts as the players association would immediatly block it.
-
Contract was extended weeks ago. It was even on the official site.
-
On his way to the Mackems, the 18 goals came in the SPL which is a far inferior league, Arsene obviously sees nothing in him and the only teams interested were Charlton, Mackems and Celtic, all of which are massively inferior clubs.
-
Also I hate to let facts get in the way of your Freddy vendetta but Russell Cushing is the one who deals with things like ticket prices, not Freddy.
-
Killing the F.A. Cup. To be fair your not goona get much cheaper than that at any big club like Newcastle. Man City never sell out even for Premiership games and there still charging £15 for their replay.
-
Was £25 for the away game. So in comparison our prices are rather reasonable.

Saurday? You do realise we play Spurs on Sunday don't you?
