Some of these posts on here are great. Suddenly he goes from being a amazing player to a pile of crap after one game.
Personnally I'm still on the amazing player side. Fingers crossed though chairmen around Europe are as fickle as some people on here and they'll not pursue their interest. *Wishful thinking*
No, it would ruin it. Half the reason that shirt looks so good is because the sponsor is so small and flat anyway.
You'd have job pursuading any sponser to pay full price and have their logo that small.
So, we are obviously in dire need of a creative midfielder. Who does everyone think we could get in and who'd improve us?
I still think Palacios would be a good option personally. I'd be tempted to say Veloso but even though he hardly played at Euro 2008 I think he might be a bit out of our reach.
Probably because they are a better team...
2 points better.
Anyway he said it was because he didnt want to move to the midlands didnt he?
He hasn't said anything. Oliver said it was because he didn't want to move to the midlands.
Can't shoot for shit.
As crazy as it sounds I'll stick by that comment. I've watched all of Russia's games this tournament and a bit of Spartak and he's had some awful misses. He's the sort of striker who would succeed at a good team who would create many chances for him but if he were to come here where he'd get 1 or 2 good chances per game I'm not so sure he'd bury them.
On the Russian version their is a Q&A with Arshavin from today. Relevant Stuff:
Q: What about your future? What can you tell us about the June 20th deadline?
A: At the moment I can not tell you anything new
The rest of it focuses on Russia, Euro 2008 and Zenit's UEFA Cup win.
