Wouldn't even swap Dyer, we could probobly get £5m+ for Dyer and I don't think Reo-Coker is even worth that.
-
Wouldn't want him in any circumstances. Average player living off the reputation of the one superb season and who believes his own hype.
-
Your source might as well be Wikipedia or Tribalfootball.
-
Shame we missed out on him, but I'm happy with Sam.
-
I know it's probobly the least reliable source going but Wikipedia lists us as one of two confirmed competitors (Ajax being the other) for the Amsterdam Tournament. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amsterdam_Tournament

Forum Links, and Links to Other Clubs' Message Boards no longer works. :'(
-
Nope, Brian kidd is the assistant there.
-
Don't think he'll get the coaches tbh. Speed, Sbragia and company all have contracts and seem to staying at Bolton. The only two I think he'll get are Taylor and Forde.
-
Link I know some on this board will be delighted with this news.
-
Shame. Would have liked to see him here.

No. I don't see why some nany people are fussy about the number of threads we have. Gets confusing when you are trying to have a debate about the luneup and then you get several posts with just predictions in.
-
Mainly because people basically stopped posting and the forum was dead.

I'm sure it's July 1st. It's not. It's June 1st.

Have they actually signed Distin yet?
-
Doubt it means Campbell will leave. It's far more likely Primus will be the one they drop or sell.

Link SAM ALLARDYCE'S rebuilding programme has been given the green light to go for first base, after Bolton reluctantly granted Newcastle United permission to speak to one of his key lieutenants. Mark Taylor, head of sports science and medicine at the Reebok Stadium, has been singled out by the new Magpies boss as the ideal man to eradicate the club's long-standing poor injury record. And Taylor, originally from the North-East before his playing career took him to the west of the country, could begin talks with Newcastle before the end of the week.

This doesn't really effect me as I have above the neccesary amount of posts but it seems to me a better way of managing the whole thing would to be to increase the number of global moderators and moderators. To be fair while their are some idiots who post crap I would say the majority of new users post sensibly and their new threads are usually good.

Good. Signing Distin would be an awful move. Vastly overrated by many on this board.
-
Will go to another Champions League club. No chance of him coming here.
-
Fair enough ... The thing is though ... we could do with some 'decent' players at this club. We have "decent" players in Shola and Carroll. What we need is proven goalscorers.
-
Very harsh. He's had a superb season... 18 goals and 11 assists, and some of his goals have been absolute peaches. Heck of a strike on him. And his ability to beat players is first class. Don't know where you got your 18 goal statistic from but from what I can see it is incorrect. According to PSV's website he got 10 goals in 27 Eredivisie games, which is very unimpressive considering that most teams in that league are Championship/League 1 standard. Then in the Champions league he got 2 goals in 9 games and both those goals came against Galatasaray. Not exactly the sort of scoring record you'd want from a Premiership striker.
-
Kone is rubbbish. He looks OK in the Eredivisie but he deosn't exactly set the world on fire in that division.

I read on the BBC the other day the 3 British teams that will be invited will be Chelsea, Rangers and Celtic. It said nothing about us http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/6667439.stm That's the link to the article from Thursday with quotes from the new G14 president Aulas.

Possibly, I'd prefer it to be a midfielder though, .: Emre is a possible contender. You are kidding me? How on earth can anybody recommend Emre to be captain, he is highly inconsistant and often is non-existant in certain games, not to mention the fact that on several occasions he's lost his head with players or refs and had to be restrained by members of our team. Gets stuck in, gives his all, can PASS the ball, played at the highest level, has big asperations, doesn't take defeat lying down, the potential (under a good manager) to be a very good player. .: a contender. HIGHLY disagree with the first three. On his day he can do all those things and he can look like a top level europeon player. The only problem is that in every match I have seen him play he will have at least one 20-30 minute spell where he can't pass for shit, will walk around the pitch and won't make a single tackle. A brilliant example of that was Reading at home where for the last 10 minutes of the first half he took his foot of the pedal and in that period Reading scored twice to go in front. As for get stuck in and gives his all just watch the goals against Sheffield United at SJP or Reading's second goal at SJP and tell me if that is getting stuck in.
