.com are reporting that Carlisle and Sampdoria will play at SJP this summer, although not yet confirmed by club. They also report our preseason could be in Stegersbach, Austria from the 3rd to the 10th of July.

Solano already said he will return to South America after this season.

Solano only got a 1-year deal and Krul gets a 4-year deal Link NEWCASTLE United can confirm that both Nolberto Solano and Tim Krul have signed new contracts at St.James' Park. Solano has been handed a new one-year deal, while Dutch stopper Krul has penned a four-year extension. Krul is currently on international duty with Holland Under-21's at this summer's European Championships, and the 19-year-old had this to say after signing his new deal at Gallowgate. "I signed a a four-year deal so I think that's a very good thing for me and for the club. "Newcastle is a massive club for me and I really want to stay there so I hope my future's there. "Shay is a fantastic goalkeeper, one of the best and Steve Harper as well. It's a hard challenge for me but in a couple of years I hope I can challenge them." And Krul says he will be looking to gain some valuable experience by going out on loan next season, adding: "We're looking for a loan. I'm allowed to go on loan for next season so we're looking for a club now. "We're waiting for clubs, maybe Championship, we'll have to see."
-
Good news. Hope Solano is only for one year.

No way. Give someone like Ben Haim £70k, and when we do start going for the top stars, we'll be looking at Owen-style wages. You clearly have no idea where football wages are going. In the next few years for a top player your going to be looking atleast 100k+ no matter what the situation. Predictions are that withing the next 2 years we'll see the first 200k-a-week player. Wages are gonna skyrocket and simple fact is we have to pay up or lose out. We had to pay Barton 70k and even then West Ham offered 10k more.

Stozo clearly oblivious to the superb signing that was Oguchi Onyewu. To be honest I could never understand why we didn't utilize his long throw. Onyewu isn't in the same league as Halfiord though. I've seen halford throw the ball from inside his own half into the penalty area.
-
I'd have loved Halford here. He seems an average defender but he seems worth it just for his 50 yard long throw.
-
To be fair to the guy he's not using it as his lead story and it is the summer so not exactly much to write about.
-
Definetly disagree with that. I've watched him several times in both the Eredivisie, CL and for Holland's youth teams and never has he been better than average. He's only 18 so their is time for improvement but right now he is nowhere near the finished article.

Dimitar Berbatov - Spurs Thierry Henry - Barca Samuel Eto'o - Barca David Villa - Valencia Javier Saviola - Sevilla Fernando Torres - Athletico Jan Klaas Huntelaar - Ajax Carlos Tevez - Juventus Nicolas Anelka - Bolton Djibril Cisse - Marseile Louis Saha - Man. -
I'd actually say Domi, Distin and especially Bernard were very good for us.
-
Martins will stay number 9. Squad numbers only usually change when a player leaves.
-
Problem is nobody in the Championship wants him. The highest he'll go in England is League 1. Eredivisie will be much better for him playing against teams like AZ, PSV and Ajax. Also your last piont is rather silly that he should be kept in England so the fans can watch and prople can post on this board about him.

Will Krul be starting for the Dutch on Sunday?
-
Tuncay has never impressed me. He seems to be very much a highlight reel player and you have to question if he is so good why is he playing in the Turkish league at 25.

Link According to reports in the Dutch press, Roda JC are hoping to sign Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul on loan for next season. The former ADO Den Haag keeper has only played once for The Magpies, impressing in a Uefa Cup win over Palermo in November. Krul has already admitted he will be looking to leave St James' Park on loan next season in order to further his first team experience. Now Limburgs Dagblad has reported that Roda JC hope to be first in line should Sam Allardyce give the green light for the 19-year-old to leave. Krul is currently in his homeland preparing for the upcoming European Under 21 Championship after being included in Holland's squad.

Yep, only top 3 get in CL. Bayern finished 4th. Already signalled their intent though by buying Ribery and Toni.
-
Rings of a club with principal if you ask me.
-
They shouldn't pay Barton anything. Man City have bent over backward to accomadate him over the last few years, by all rights his career should have been finished when he stubbed the cigar in the other kids eye. I'm looking forward to seeing Barton at Newcastle but he is fucking Man City over good and proper.
-
I'd imagine atleast £10m. Although I don't think he is available as Bayern won't be selling any of their big players as they want to get back in the CL next year.
-
Trabelsi was fucking shit at Man City.

Would have been two months ago, but if Manchester City don't complete their takeover, Richards is well within our grasp if we wanted him. No, he is not. He will cost at LEAST £15m and then he will only go to one of the big 4. Billionaire owner Ambitious and highly regarded manager renowned by top players across Europe. Chance to play in front of 52,000 fans a week Chance to play in a team featuring one of the best striker quartets in Europe. Club on the up Club familiar with regular European football Club that can afford to spend £15 million on a full back Club that can guarantee forst team football Someone please tell me why there is no chance? Billionaire owner but we don't know how much of a budget Allardyce will be given. He is certainly not an Abramovich and it would stun me if we spent that much on full bakc even with Ashley. Club familiar but not in Europeon football and we'll see if we are truly a club on the up when we actually play a some competitive matches under Allardyce.
