  1. Fuck it we need 3-5-2 something like this Given Taylor Cacapa Bassong Colo Geremi Butt Duff Zoggy Owen Xisco Colo to mop up Butt's mistakes in midfield and Zoggy doing the link up play with the front two
  2. Never mind! at least Xisco will get a run out. We will beat Blackburn this weekend and we will have new owners come next week so chill out ffs!
  3. Agreed. I'd also keep Given and maybe Zoggy & Taylor (Cringes as awaits barrage of abuse). The rest are appaling Missed Given and Harper but Zoggy and Taylor will not get any better, and that's a FACT! Taylor and his new contract, what a fucking joke!
  4. Owen, Martins,Xisco,Beye,Guti and Colo are the only players I would keep out of that lot The rest can go fuck themselves! Fucking do they not understand that we need something to cheer? Only way we can scrape by until the Jan window is getting Keegan back under new owners, otherwise this team is going down and they deserve too, gutless overpaid wankers.
  5. I'm not arsed about challenging Man City if i'm honest, I just want a bit of pride back in my club. Staying up this season and aiming to keep as many of our best players as we can is our current objective. Then we can see about this 75m. There are lots of people saying things like that these days. Genuine, simple, ambition, is a thing of the past. It simply never occurs to most of our 'brow-beaten' fans these days. Survival, is about the 'highest' ambition (if you could call it that) that most people seem to have these days, and who can blame them after years of failure and the recent turmoil. yep. i think finally the expectations levels have dropped. All i want is a bit of hope. If new owners bring that, then great. Lets start all over again... again. You know, that is about the BEST thing I have seen on here for ages. I often get tied up in what "we should have achieved since 1969, since 1992, since 1996, etc, etc, etc. It's ALL GONE !!!! Lets start again, forget the past non-achievements, lets get new owners with a bit (well, a LOT if possible) of dosh . . and a lot of ("fan-like") enthusiasm, allied to a bit of intelligent business acumen . . . LETS JUST START AGAIN (AGAIN!). Now . . . . . I just need to convince myself . . . anyone know where I can get an 'amnesia' drug? Dammit! Bet we get first pick on all the Nigerian stars of the future as well! I love africans me

Staying up this season and aiming to keep as many of our best players as we can is our current objective. Then we can see about this 75m. Think this is all we ever wanted tbh, fuck the media suggesting we're demading trophies. I want to be proud of watching Newcastle again, and if we get loads of loot to spend then fine but I ultimately want trusted people running the club. Get Sir Bobby involved at some level for the time he has remaining as since he's stopped working his health has gone downhill fast. Get Keegan back as manager and Shearer in charge of the reserves to get a feel for picking a team and Ant and Dec as Directors and then see if everyone laughs at us!
  7. He's a cockney! Haven't you heard? We don't do cockney's
  8. Well if we see this parked in the directors spot we know they are And Drop a few gold teeth in Ashleys palm to make up the last few quid
  9. if this was a scripted tv show, the critics would slaughter it as ridiculous,.... The crossroads of football i'd call us Who is Benny then ? Hmmmmmm fat cunt that fucks everything up when it was running perfect! Let me think.........

  11. By insisting we kept Smith & turned down £12m for Milner? And giving Faye to Stoke City while putting Taylor on a long expensive contract ?? There is a lot of support for the changes the Ashley regime were trying to make and Dennis Wise is a convenient villain. As an ex player said this week "the difference between Dennis Wise and Kevin Keegan is when Wise has a problem he rolls his sleeves up and works at it whereas Keegan throws the toys out of the pram" Think I need to see the proof of that lad if you've got it??? Oh wait have you fuck Keegan has been played as a mug by these tossers over the whole Faye and Milner sales! I'm sure he himself as did we all expect the board to bring in better quality players as that's the reason why he sanctioned the deals. But we only brought in a couple that are at best average and tried to sell the likes of Owen. Now if you believe Keegan would ever leave the side so exposed as these cocks would have done then you're more stupid than I thought.
  12. The way I see it is Keegan did everything in his power to improve the team for the better, Where Ashley and Co ignored vital area's which we needed strength which ultimately wasn't working towards the best for the team. If new owners are not found and we're stuck with this prick then say bye bye to the prem because our squad is riddled with sicknote twats, the majority are quite happy to pick up there pay and put in god awful performances for it, when we the fans needed something positive to happen with recent events. I've lost all interest in us at the minute as I just can't see anybody fighting for the cause, and how you supposed to get behind that? The "players are profesionals" statement after Keegan left is a bit tongue in cheek from what i've witnessed. 30 years supporting us and this is the lowest I have felt in that time, say's it all.
  13. 5 minutes away is close enough tbh Anything south of Watford is my indicator That's a pretty shit indicator. Why's that? It's worked flawlesly over the years

  15. jesus fucking christ...someone take a copy of that to the public meeting so people can try and twat him now for who he ACTUALLY is Why the dumb cunt didn't just wear a coat and a Hat after his first scrape i'll never know. More than likely total bullshit
  16. Oh dear http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1056476/Abuse-toilets-attacked-cafe--perils-Mike-Ashley-lookalike-Toon.html?ITO=1490
  17. How much did you know about Lerner before he bought Villa? He owns the Cleveland Browns, just as the Glazers own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I follow a lot of American sports, as I went to school over there for a number of years, so I knew of them already. Americans just have such a strong sporting culture that I am a lot more comfortable with them. So what sports did Bill Gates play at college? Which "franchises" is he involved with these days? He was the punching bag i'd expect
  18. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/newcastle/2962624/Mike-Ashleys-potential-buyers-for-Newcastle-United---Premier-League-Football.html Mike Ashley is prepared to sell Newcastle United to the highest bidder and reamins hoepful that the recent turmoil at the club will not dissuade a number of potential buyers from making him an offer he can't refuse. By Steve Wilson Last Updated: 12:35PM BST 15 Sep 2008 In the running: Anil Ambani of Reliance Communications has expressed interest in Newcastle previously Photo: Getty The current Newcastle owner has admitted that he does not have deep enough pockets to manage Newcastle's debts at the same time as providing the investment needed to turn a failing first-team squad in to Champions League contenders. There are, however, a host of names out there who do. Dubai Investment Capital The early favourites despite their 18-month pursuit of Liverpool, the investment arm of the Dubai royal family has the resources to buy out Ashley and a long held desire to become involved with English football which has been exacerbated by their neighbours in Abu Dhabi, in the form of the Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG), buying up Manchester City. With Liverpool co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks unable to come to an agreement with each other, let alone an outside bidder, DIC may well turn instead to Newcastle, a cheaper option. Newcastle Vice President Tony Jimenez is in Dubai at the moment to open discussions with DIC. With Ashley willing to entertain bids below the £300 million mark a deal in principle could even be rushed through inside a week. Anil Ambani The world's sixth richest man has an estimated fortune of £250 billion and owns the telecommunications giants Reliance Communications. The Indian businessman expressed an interest in buying the club last month with a figure of £260 million floated but late last week withdrew from direct contact due to the turbulent nature of the North East club. Instead Ambani has shifted his focus to Everton, with his son, Jai Anmol having attended Everton's pre-season match against PSV Eindhoven, with chairman Bill Kenwright eager to draw investment to Goodison Park. Profitable Group The Singapore-based investment company was reportedly in competition with Ambani before the Indian pulled back from the chase. The group has already set up a number of commercial ties and sponsorship concerns with Newcastle and so is well placed to know the value and potential of the club, from a business perspective. Their interest in English football, which is one of the biggest television draws in Singapore, is strengthened by former Liverpool and England midfielder Steve McMhahon holding the post of Group Commercial Director. Sage Group North East-based business concerned with the development, distribution and support of business management software that has a global market and is in rude economic health. With their head offices in Newcastle itself, the local credentials of the organisation would be sure to play well with fans who railed against the preceived 'Cockney Mafia' of Ashley and Dennis Wise. No formal discussions have yet taken place but Sage would be in a position to make a strong bid. Ant and Dec Having successfully presented ITV's recent Soccer Aid programme the pair have football credentials and as local boys made good would find favour with the Newcastle fans desperate to restore some civic pride. A successful career in broadcasting from a tender age has earned the duo a bob or two and their celebrity could prove decisive in adding glamour and entertainment to the club again. May want to recoup some of their investment through taking control of the ticket booking telephone lines and have experience of making something similar pay.
  19. They've also announced it was the plan to take over BOTH NUFC and MCFC with two different figureheads in the PL. We'll be ground sharing next
  20. Very good point. Can Llambias even speak fucking english? cunt. He speaks through the medium of mime!
  21. I think we'll have no problem That statement will have alerted that broker that brought the Arabs to Man City, She said other buyers were going to come in for clubs so watch this space. At least one good thing has come out of these protests is whoever does buy will know exactly what is needed and i'm sure.
