He was binned off with one game if the season left, wasn’t he?
they were 11th or 12th. Neewhere near relegation.
there’s no need for the hyperbole, it’s fine to be underwhelmed (I would be) but let’s be accurate.
aye. Nowhere near a relegation battle, like.
I get the disappointment (ish) but let’s at least be accurate.
’he’s taken every team backwards’ and ‘relegation battle with Everton’ etc is just bollocks.
He ticks a lot of boxes for them in that he knows the league, is known to our current head coach and he is a sporting director (or similar) at belgium and has overseen the total overhaul of their coaching and scouting as well as their new national training centre.
yeah, i'm saying he took everton backwards (after a records points tally in his first season). My question is did he do similar at wigan, swansea and belgium.
is this true?
did he take swansea backwards? wigan backwards? has he taken belgium backwards?
all genuine questions by the way, not having a go ( I know he did at everton after a great first season).
Emery for me. Knows the league, tactically very good.
I really think knowledge of the league is key with this appointment, we have pretty much 0 room for error.
(made choice based on Rafa being unrealsitic imo)
