Ramsey apparently wants to play on the left of a midfield three in the 8 position of a 4-3-3 and has struggled at Villa as they don’t play that way so he’s been used out wide.

Ramsey isn’t exactly a wild card though, is he? so why the negativity towards it? The track record is superb, and if anything, our struggles have came from moving away from this type of profile of player. Anyone saying ‘stop all transfers until they sort a structure out’ is off their rocker, imo anyway.

I don’t know enough about Baleba, but if you get legs in midfield you’ll be way better next season (in addition to what you’ve already done). then again, I said exactly the same thing last summer I think but these do feel like very good buys.
