I’m going to mark that down as a ‘no’. If I’ve got that wrong give me a shout.
-
Don’t think I would either, he’s very one footed from what I’ve seen but I just wondered if anyone who knew a bit more about him than me thought there could be value there.
-
Antony apparently available for £20m. would you?
-
there is 0 chance of this happening. Rogers has major issues working with a sporting director, not a chance Mitchell puts himself in that position again.

This slump is on Howe. It’s impossible to say otherwise. As I’ve said a few times, I love him, he’s been absolutely fantastic for us but this season so far is largely a shit show and that’s on him, there’s nowhere else for the buck to stop. I’d love to see him fix it, I genuinely would , but I don’t think he will. I actually hope we move him on sooner rather than later to protect his reputation (which has undoubtedly risen massively since he took our job), as I think this will get worse. Performing against the Liverpool’s and Arsenal’s and not against the likes of West Ham &, Fulham & Wolves (yes I know we won there, but it was poor) is an alarming sign from a coaching/management perspective. its not so much the squad that’s gone stale (yes we need a rw and a centre half), it’s the coaching style and approach imo.

Agree with every word. Exactly where I’m at. Gutted for him, I love the bloke but this is on him.
-
Yep. It isn’t the first. Good to see him back involved, as much as I think we should have sold him last Jan, we’re stronger for having Trippier around at the moment.
-
Very true.
-
Craig Hope has linked him as well. Reckons they’d send Nunes the other way.
-
I’ve really no idea.

He’s been a mess in his personal life for ages, well over a year. He tried to force his own move away in the summer by going to Dubai off his own back. We should have sold him last Jan, we need to be far more ruthless with sales imo. As I say, there was an internal fall out yesterday. I have no idea how big it was and I have no idea if they’ll resolve it. But he definitely wasn’t ill tonight.
-
Fall out yesterday, not sure how big or if it's fixable. He desperately wants away.
-
He's not a right winger, and he isn't as good as others on the left. Bizarre signing.
-
It'll be dressed up as some sort of injury i'd imagine. It isn't.
-
Interesting to see what happens here tonight.

I think they will have, along with Thomas frank and the fella at Stuttgart,

The Trippier mess is nothing to do with Eddie, to be fair. It followed him to Spurs, to Spain and then to us. Should Howe have known before signing him? Yes, and maybe he did to be fair, but i think at £12m it was a gamble that was worth taking first and foremost and has still proven to be great value in any event. He should have been moved on last Jan though (and wanted to go) and Howe blocked that.
-
I think this is fair. I don’t want to see Howe sacked because a) I really like him and b) I think he’s got credit in the bank to try and turn this. Equally, it’s been largely shite this season and that’s on the manager. Carve it up however you wish, but save for 3 or 4 good performances we’ve been awful and if it doesn’t change soon he’ll have to go.
-
I’m relaxed about the Isak situation. He’s superb, obviously, but if we do sell him it’ll be for a kings ransom and the entire amount will be reinvested back in to the team so I’m easy either way.
-
It’ll be a German manager if Eddie is replaced, imo. Hoeness, most likely.
-
That'll go down as one of the worst cameo's i've ever seen thats for sure. Awful.
-
Summed up absolutely perfectly.

That doesn't annoy me tbh, it's the 'ALEJANDRO GARNACHO!!!!!!!' when he has a shot (same with every player). It's totally unbearable.
