Everton is the best move for Delap. their fans apparently made a big fuss of him when Ipswich were there the other week. He’d be better there than Man Utd or Chelsea.

I agree, it would. But I’d be staggered if we turned in to the career wreckers you lot have been in the last 12 years or so. It’s almost impossible to fuck it up like you lot have.

I like Delap, and he’s young and cheap at £30m. but he’s got an awful lot to do I think. 12 goals this season is decent but he didn’t exactly set the championship alight last season. Still think he’s a good punt at £30m, but being Man Utd’s main man is a massive ask imo.

I think Cunha is great. Good signing for them imo. Bit of a risk signing for them as pretty much everyone they buy regresses, but that wont/can’t last forever.

the good old ‘Ashley-esque’ line. Nothing we do is ‘Ashley-esque’. Literally nothing. if we bring DCL in (which I think we will) it’ll be well thought out , our recruitment is pretty much flawless. just let them get on with it.

Leicester at home that confirmed the champions league place? That wasn’t brilliant imo , I remember it being a routine save that I’d fully expect a keeper to make. i really like Pope btw, but not sure that save is the best example to use.
