Who are these three managers Arsenal appointed who "failed" to win the league since the double? Bertie Mee is the one who won the double, Terry Neil won (and "failed" blueyes.gif) the FA Cup, Don Howe failed to win anything as far as I'm aware, then came George Graham who again won the League. Are we discounting Bertie Mee or George Graham? I'm just interested so that I know how history is being re-written, I'd hate to get it wrong. You have a go at Liverpool for having two managers, 1 of the two went on to have more success in 1 season than we've had since at least the 50's. Bollocks, Evans had more domestic success than we've had since 1955 by winning the League Cup yet he's shit. bluebiggrin.gif If this is all failure, what does that make our 1 Intertoto Cup success?
-
The only mistake Liverpool made was keeping Evans for an extra year, if only we could complain about just 1 year. :wullie:

Anybody who thinks we can more afford another injury in defence is round the bend, just look what we put out against Bolton. An injury in defence at this time will probably cost us more than an injury to Sibierski who I think is on the same number of league goals as Dyer and Parker(guess). We've raped the reserves for defenders, where do we go after that?

To be fair to him, he seems to have grown up lately, let's hope his priorities remain with his football, he's an asset to the club when fit. Happy Birthday.

Here's the answer to one of his questions: The Arsenal board consistently get it wrong? George Graham (1986-1995): Littlewoods Cup winners 1987 Littlewoods Cup runners up 1988 League Championship 1989 League Championdhip 1991 FA Cup winners 1993 Coca-Cola Cup winners 1993 European Cup-Winners Cup winners 1994 Bruce Rioch (1995-1996): Won nothing, this must be where they "consistently got it wrong." Arsene Wenger (1996-To Date): Do I have to list them? Liverpool from the two managers they appointed. Roy Evans (1994-1998): League Cup 1995 Gerard Houllier (1998-2004): League Cup 2001 & 2003. FA Cup 2001. UEFA Cup 2001. Super Cup 2001. Charity Shield 2001.

Don't expect everyone to see the sense in your post.

That will be Olivers exclusive tomorrow, "A source close to Liverpool plays down Uniteds chances of signing Crouch."
-
That will come as a surprise to nobody, it's expected. bluebiggrin.gif

Prick Care to expand? Obviously a dig at Roeder 'sorry nobody with a brain'. We kick off at all the West ham fans and other fans who sing insults at our manager and in my eyes you are trying to be funny with your comment. If you are not I will apologise. I don't think Roeder decides how much we pay for players so why would it be a dig at him? In my eyes you need to stop being too sensitive and reading things which don't exist in the first place.

£12million for crouch, nobody would pay that, sorry, nobody with a brain.

Aye, i bet half the posters in this thread pissed the bed regularly 8 years ago. The other half still continue to do so by the sound of things. Which half are you?
-
I preferred Pav over Hislop.
-
I'm sure we dropped as many points while both were in goal, I'm not sure who played the most league games.
-
Roeder has fallen down so far this season when he's had to make decisions, we've done better when the team has virtually picked itself, when he's had to chose who plays we've struggled as a team, I'm not sure we're a match for those outside of the top 5 while Roeder is at the club, time will tell. Maybe we are just doing better now because the players have had more games together although that would be weird considering we are usuallt forced to change the team every week. I suppose we 'll find out as injured players return and are brought back into the team, some automatically rather than on merit.
-
Parkers worst habit is the 360' spin every time he gets the ball, even when he's got nobody near him, he would be a much better player if he stopped doing it.
-
Thst's why he said CB in the thread above yours. bluebiggrin.gif
-
To think that we were looking at him before he went to man U. :wullie:
-
My problem with him was how long it took for him to react to situations, it was as if he had to think before acting rather than things coming natural to him, his pace pulled him out of the crap a few times.

Distin was a Boumsong prototype, he's older now and seems to have learned what he was weak at and improved.

I can't believe you posted that picture without photoshopping the sponsor off the shirt.
