No, I'll just let him get on with it, it only makes one person look daft.
-
Who said Beardsley was "well known nationally"? I mean apart from inside your head, those voices don't count.
-
It's not possible, he's replying to you.
-
Hypocritical is something he's good at, that and lying, denying the obvious, inventing things, putting words into peoples mouths, burying his head in the sand and defending somebody who is beyond a reasonable defence.
-
I only know of two brothers who post on here and you're one of them, they've both denied it for many months while backing each other up.
-
briefly, I thought you were intelligent Johan, but now I think that having confirmed you are totally unable to accept the fact that the current board have improved the club massively during its time in charge, to be the view of what I call a skyboy. I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt. Shame. 2nd to 15th is not an improvement, £millions in the black to £millions in the red is no improvement, that's what Shepherd has done, where's the improvement? The only thing he has done right while increasing his personal fortune is to expand the ground which was all planned while Sir John was at the club and he's built up the training facilities, that was done by him at the insistence of Sir Bobby but at least he's done it, oh, we won an award for our catering, featured in a movie and our ground was used by Sky for "The Match."

Check these links out, you'll see your first post where you said "Beardsley was an unheard of youngster." Lies: by the usual suspect Then you'll see my post in reply to yours, I said "Beardsley was unheard of? OK so his trial at Man U under Ron Atkinson didn't happen, Man U didn't offer to pay Vancouver something like £300k, talk about distorting the facts, he was also known enough to our club to be given a trial at Newcastle before he went to Carlisle." Truth: by me Which part of the above is wrong?

Amazing.

My monkey? I thought I was his monkey. You've quoted "well known" above, who are you quoting?

bluebiggrin.gif £300,000 or £500,000 doesn't matter in the slightest, he was still being chased by Man U, you denying it makes you a liar, me stating a fact doesn't make me a liar it just shows your desperation to be right again, even when wrong, again. making ONE appearance for manu, made him well known ?? haha....funny as fcuk thickmick. As I said, why didn't he move to Liverpool then, rather than a few years later for 2m+ , how come nobody else wanted him when we signed him for 150 grand ? How come he didn't win an England cap until 1986 ? You're surpassing yourself .. As I have said in an earlier post, I was in the south of England, and NOBODY had heard of him. You're a liar. Making one appearance for Man U proves what I said was right and something you appear to have denied, that he was well known enough to Man U and as your brother mentions, saying that he wasn't enough times will not change that.

A few quotes about Beardsley from lying websites. http://www.geordie.co.uk/articles/peter.htm He made enough of an impact for word to get back to Manchester United who brought him home for £300,000 in 1982 but he made just one Fottball league Cup appearance for them before a first spell at Newcastle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Beardsley Beardsley was released as a teenager by hometown club Newcastle United but found his way back there in 1983 after successful spells with Carlisle United and Canadian outfit Vancouver Whitecaps. He then rejoined the Magpies after a short spell with Manchester United who only played him in one League Cup tie before letting him leave. http://www.lfchistory.net/player_profile.asp?player_id=264 Other clubs: Carlisle, Vancouver Whitecaps, Manchester United, Newcastle, Everton, Newcastle (2), Bolton, Man City (loan), Fulham (loan), Hartlepool, Doncaster. http://www.englandfc.com/Profiles/php/PlayerProfileByName.php?id=91 Wallsend Boys Club, Carlisle United, Vancouver Whitecaps (Canada), Manchester United, Newcastle United, Liverpool.

you're wrong, it was McKeag and your monkey, who he admires, that did that. I don't believe message board existed during the McKeag years, does that mean you weren't a fan of the club then either bluesleep.gif sorry that's too subtle, who was my "monkey", and who admires whom ? As there was no message boards, I wrote to the chairman to complain, I criticised him in fan magazines, I tried to change people's sycophantic views of the board. There were still people around who argued that McKeag was better than Westwood, and that we should be careful what we wished for as it could always be worse. McKeag spent £2m in 1988, backing his manager, no other chairman had backed his manager like that. complete rubbish. Mick will be here soon to back up his brother in this lie. I was definitely around at the time and I don't recall anybody making any such claims, never even heard of this suggestion before either. As you say, complete rubbish and indicates macbeth wasn't around at the time either. They really are like reformed smokers. Having deserted the club because we were crap they came back as 'life long supporters' on the back of a supposed promise of trophies, now babbling on like 5 year olds because it hasn't happened. They could always bugger off again......but then they won't do that until we're shit. Just because you and NE5 are brothers has no relevance to others being related, the two are unconnected apart from in your heads. Saying it as much as you want will not make the slightest difference.

no response then ? I'm sure everyone can see why you don't reply ... bluebiggrin.gif Yes they can see your stupid posts where you refuse to acknowledge that Man U bid £500,000 for Beardsley who was "unknown" - fact. They can also see that you try to change history, fact.
-
Said the person who always quotes league position as the measurement of success, hypocritical yet laughable.
-
Steve, How well known did I say Beardsley was? Remind me exactly what I said if you don't mind losing face yet again. bluebiggrin.gif

 I 'll take that as just another admission that you make statements that you can't back up, nothing unusual with that though. If Michael Owen was so well known why didn't more clubs try to buy him when we did?

Another last post to me. bluebiggrin.gif What I wish for the club is for us to do better than we currently are and to stop seeing the name of the club dragged through the mud because of our chairman. If that's not what you want then you're not a genuine supporter, simple as. I don't think Shepherd is capable of taking this club in any direction other than backwards; he's a serial at it. The bloke has taken the piss out of the fans while becoming very wealthy at our expense. try telling supporters of numerous big clubs that we have overtaken since 1992 that bringing England players and regular european football is taking the piss Taking the piss = selling the club short for 30 years and selling any good player you happen to find to someone with more ambition than you. Supporters who witnessed these times will tell you about that, as you weren't really there, as is proven by your reluctance to answer factual information regarding transfer fees, and league positions over these years. You weren't there, you're a liar. You came back to the club because you hoped there would be trophies and now that there isn't you are pissed off about it. If one thing good comes about the clubs current blip, it is that they will get rid of bandwagon jumper fans and hopefully will be replaced by some of those who used to go to games when we were really shit and were squeezed out during our rise up the leagues. I fail to see what a warehouse has got to do with the fortunes of the football club and footballers on a football field. I don't need to look at books, you do, because you're a liar. the league positions, and transfer fees of Beardsley etc, are fact. As is my statement that when we signed him, hardly anyone had heard of him. Incidentally, do you always think people who think, or know, different to you are related, or know each other or something ? How dumb are you Since Freddy Shepherd became chairman we've been overtaken by: Chelsea, Arsenal, Portsmouth, Liverpool, Reading, Everton, Villa, Bolton, Fulham, Man City, Spurs, Wigan, Blackburn, Boro, Sheff U and West Ham. Man U had heard of Beardsley, unknown has now become hardly known, at least something of a climb down. As for the related bit, no, I don't think everybody who disagrees with me are related, I also know you and HTL's are, OK Steve. only 4 of those have qualified for europe more than us in the last decade, so far as I can see ....... If everyone had heard of Beardsley, why didn't everyone want him ? fairly simple, even for you. bump. Another ignored question with an obvious answer, which is of course why he is ignoring it. I thought the question was just your attempt at a joke, when did anybody say "everyone had heard of Beardsley?" I can't remember seeing anything like that although it probably did happen in your head. A link to that would come in handy and backup what you ask.

you miss the point. Our current fortunes are directly linked to the day the scottish fuckpig decided to peddle Bellamy and set about putting his ego before the good of the club. Some of us predicted it, and were rubbished by idiots who thought they knew best. Some of them also think a better board than the one we have is going to drop out of the sky too...... Our current fortunes are directly linked to the day the scottish fuckpig was appointed.

How did you know Souness would be shite? Why didn't you tell the club? You're clueless when it comes to sticking up for your mentor, totally clueless. bluebiggrin.gif

No I'm not going to explain that, it was Shepherd not taking notice of his manager, the manager who brought Shepherd his best 3 seasons while being given the least amount of money per season since Ardilles was manager and right up to this day. The man who probably generated the most money for the club was given the least to invest in the squad, Fact. Shepherd invests our money at the wrong times, he backs the wrong managers the most and he does it to bail himself out in desperation when things go wrong, fact. he is also the chairman when we had our first 3 consecutive top 5 finishes in the top league for over 50 years - fact. And he has also funded his managers to buy England players and top current internationals, unlike ALL his predecessors bar 1 - fact. The rest is presumptious and without foundation, like everything else you post. Did Seymour buy the current England captain when he signed Keegan? Did sir Bobby spend the least amount of money per year of his job since Ardilles? The figures are easy to find. I did presume that Sir Bobby generated the most money, I guessed that taking us so far in the CL and the three high league finishes plus the UEFA semi would have done that, do you doubt it?
