I originally thought that he was joking until I heard he'd apologised and said "In the heat of the moment, I used the wrong words."
  2. I'd take a goal in the 90th minute as long as we win, which I'm sure we will.

    Jamaal Lascelles

It wasn't just for their goal, he did it a few times. Earlier in the season he was dropped because of his mistakes and should be again.

I can't stand him as a footballer, he seems OK as a person.
  5. Colin Veitch ? Think that's one for Mick. He was better than Lee Ryder.
  6. Our average attendance is 51,154 for the season in the league and we'll have had more than 1,000,000 through the turnstiles for league games against Burton.
  7. Agreed, we get no bullshit from him and it's refreshing.
  8. Was anybody else worried Shelvey was going to get sent off when he virtually ran the length of the pitch to have a go at the ref? He got close to the ref and seemed to calm down a bit.
  9. What the hell was happening with that plane that looked as if it was flying into the ground today? I don't know if anybody else noticed it but it came really low over the Gallowgate roof.
  10. I can enjoy my football for the first time in over a decade, I have Rafa to thank for that.
  11. We've scored 72 goals this season in the league, I wonder how many we'd have scored with a positive manager. The next best team points wise in this league have scored 8 less after the same number of games. The great team managed by Wagner have scored 25 goals less than we have.

Hopefully he'll be able to start on Wednesday too I don't know where that brain fart came from.

It was great to have him back and he should start on Tuesday. Our game will be so much better if he does start as we'll have movement and drive in the centre of midfield and he's not worried about putting a tackle in which he was doing when he came on today.
  14. Rafa isn't a negative manager, he's constantly telling the players to get forward when I look at him.
  15. I watched his Valencia side tear Liverpool apart with amazing football. I watched his Liverpool destroy Real Madrid with amazing football. I watched them put 5 past us at SJP. Rafa's sides can play good football. But it requires the right players and good players. Our last game of last season against Spurs.
  16. He knows where to go to avoid having to get on the ball, it's his safety blanket.
  17. I thought that he was garbage as usual, the number of times he was marking nobody and still stood where he was does my head in. I watched him looking around, seeing he had nobody around him yet he still stood still, he's an abomination.
  18. I thought that he would be tidy on the ball, I didn't expect him to graft his nuts off and I didn't think he'd get almost a goal every 3 games from the wing.
  19. We'll just have to disagree, we were a total shambles.
  20. Exactly and he wasn't building for the Premiership, he was building to get us out of the league that we're in and he looks like achieving that. Don't have the the exact number but sure it was around 25 that left. 50 million to rebuild that and be certainties to go up if nothing to be scoffed at. Yet 7 of the 11 started today were here last season. Tells me the core of the squad that got us down are going to get is up. Yes, go on.....
  21. We were 1 place above them in the league and our head to head was played 2 drew 2.
  22. Especially after the s**** we've had to put up with. We have the best manager we could have hoped for, in fact we've got a better manager than most of us could have wished for.
  23. If we hadn't brought Rafa in we might have matched that Villa points haul at the end of the season.
