Bringing Remy in and having to rely on him getting goals in a new league and new country would be a massive risk to take considering what's at stake. In his favour will be that he should fit in quite easily with the other French players.

I can understand that, what I can't understand is that people are actually making a case for him going. As fans, we've got nothing to gain from losing Ba and I include seeing Cisse play through the middle because Ba doesn't have to leave for that to happen.

The club under the current owner and MD were happy to offer Michael Owen £130k+ a week for sitting on his arse.
