WTF - I completely missed that. I thought Quinn was still their chairman. He's not involved at all now? I think it's the next post that you might have missed.

    That is a brilliant typo.

Pardew claimed we were good enough to challange for the Champions League this season with this squad. Anyway, I give up.

    You're right, sorry.

The squad also included Quinn, McClen, Kerr, Chopra and Caldwell. I don't think any of our current squad sink to those levels especially when you compare playing Maritimo to playing against Juventus or Inter.

You're a sheep. In 2002-03 we played in the Champions League against Barcelona, Juventus and Inter to name just 3. After playing those shitty teams we had to play again 3 or 4 days later and guess what, we played 14 Champions League games. 3 or 4 days later we won 12 times and drew 2 without a single loss. People need to see through the s*** that Pardew is coming out with and think for themselves, of I forgot, the Europa Leauge is tougher isn't it.

I agree and that's what's pissing me off with him, he's so negative. Fatigue is bullshit, we had to play in the Intertoto under Bobby and we played 6 competitive games before the season had even started. By the end of the season we'd played 53 competitive games and finished 4th which qualified us for the Champions League. I don’t remember Bobby planting seeds in the heads of the players what we were fatigued. Our last 10 league games of that season brought us 1 defeat away to Liverpool, we drew 4 of those games and won 5, one of those games was a 6-2 win against Everton.

Have you seen any proof that the bit in bold is true? Have you seen anything to suggest that he's just using stats to hide behind while doing something different in reality? I haven't.

We're losing games even before a ball is kicked, he needs a good kick up the arse if he's going to turn things around here. Somebody should turn off his computers for a few weeks so he has to rely on what is actually going wrong rather than what graphs are telling him.

Pardew said: “It’s the intensity you need from the players to play on a Thursday night then again on the Sunday. Well, using virtually 2 different teams a week will prevent the above. Some people want to be fooled so they will be fooled. It’s much easier than facing the facts. I just think the situation is a little more nuanced – is it: a. Pardew is a s*** manager b. We’re struggling to adapt to playing twice a week with reduced prep/conditioning time for Prem games and have had key players missing all season c. a little from column a, a little from column b He's got statistics to back him up yet before these statistics were available teams just got on with it and coped. He really needs to do away with his stats and use his eyes to tell him what’s going wrong. If we were winning games he wouldn’t be complaining and the players wouldn’t be feeling tired, fatigue is as much of a mental problem as it is a physical problem. If you’re doing well you don’t feel knackered as you get a boost from winning. We haven’t played the same team on a Thursday and again on Sunday, he’s full of shit and would be much better off keeping his mouth shut because his negative shit WILL get to the players and it will rub off on them. Injuries will be playing a part in our performances and I don't think anybody has denied that, it's just not the major problem, he is. He's claiming he can't use 4-3-3 because of injuries, that doesn't sit with what he was saying even before we had kicked a ball when he was telling us that Ba would play more centrally. I'm losing it with him. I was OK with Thursday’s game because it was a case of job done. Now though I'm sick of hearing his excuses since that game and for me he's undone and goodwill which I had towards him. The man is a fraud and he's an arrogant prick who thinks he sees things which others don't.

I didn't want to give too much away. I've just read my post again that you've quoted and I'm ashamed that my first language is English.
  15. Losing tomorrow would be one more loss, add that to our recent form and everybody at the club is under increased pressure. The quicker we get our next win the better and the longer we go without a win makes the next win even tougher to get. Tomorrow isn’t a must win but it is close to one, especially with our current home as we’ve got no right to expect a win in any game.

It might as well have been written on bog paper for all good it will do him, it will be claused up to the eyeballs.

We've both got poor teams this year and the reasons for that are almost the same.
  19. I expected louder, ours were at full time on Thursday.
