Moyes has been at Everton longer, Pardew should be more experienced because he's been around a few more clubs to experience different situations which Moyes hasn't. Both comparisons are shit.

Pardew has done nothing atm to suggest he is in Moyess class Pardew 2012 > Moyes 2003/4 Pardew and Moyes have been in management for the same length of time so why compare them 8 years apart?

If you put me in amongst that 3 or 4 you would be wrong. If he takes us to where the mackems are currently sitting then I'll change my mind. If he persists with the shit he's currently serving up for another month or so and results are being repeated then once again, I'll change my mind. If he appears to lose the dressing room then he can go. If we have our better players leaving because they aren't prepared to play his style of football, he can go. If he changes things and results and performances pick up again like they did last season and we’re here again in 12 months going through the same crap then I will want him to go. His 8 year contract will not keep him here as he'll get no more than Keegan got when he walked, I can’t see any way that he'll leave here any time soon and get paid for the remainder of his contract. If we're failing he'll get the bullet because Llambias and Ashley will not stand by and watch us go down, not that I think we will, before anybody claims otherwise. At the minute I live in hope that he'll finally see that he's wrong and changes the way we’re playing.
  4. Point is we shouldn't be playing long ball to begin with. To be fair to him, I don't think he's suggesting that we should.
  5. Cabaye will do well to get 4 when he's constantly starting his move from the edge of his own box, Nolan would have to set off 2 or 3 moves early to get from his own box to the opposition box.

thing is on the other bit of this post he's got the players he needs to change the style of play with no bother, i just don't think he's capable I mainly agree, my only hope is that he'll begin to feel some pressure and that will force change, a bit like last season when the fans were singing for Ben Arfa to come on.

I think most of our fans have finally worked him out, it's up to him to change things now and by doing so try and change the direction of our season. Just watch, he'll be written off and win a cup or something.

Pardew would be better off saying nothing.

I wonder if any of our first team players are pissed off that they contributed to us finishing 5th and are not getting a game in Europe?

I don't know what to say to that, it's mind boggling if true and to be fair, actions seem to suggest that it is true.
  11. That was the biggest following I can ever remember them bringing.
  12. It doesn't help that our wingers are being used as secondary fullbacks so start runs from too deep. We break with two lines of 4 starting deep and then have one or two forwards with acres of space between them and whoever is nearest in black and white.
  13. Owen got his bit right, our forwards face away from goal far too often.
  14. A lack of investment doesn't explain why we only spent money on midfield when other areas were equally or more in need of an upgrade. We may have spend coppers on defence but I haven't seen a fee mentioned for Good.
  15. I agree with the first bit, I'm not sure about the 2nd.
  16. No, it's all down to the shit players.
  17. The ball travels through air quicker than Cabaye or anybody else for that matter can run. Jonas and Cabaye were both playing deep, Jonas was probably slightly further forward on the left than Cabaye was on the right. We have no link between midfield and the forwards because far too often it's hit from front to back. The distance between midfield and attack can't be down to the players because that would be sorted on the training pitch if it was true.
  18. Shola being knackered after a minute of football or your typo where you typed "with" instead of without?
  19. Did that happen in the 46th minute? Anyway, I've corrected your typo.
  20. I'm tempted to give my ticket away for this one as I could do with being somewhere else, for a few reasons. I hope I can change my mind by Saturday but we're uninspiring and the games just don't give any enjoyment at the minute. People actually buying tickets game by game should be given tickets instead of being charged for them because the value for money is next to nil.
  21. He's playing far too deep and I don't think that's because he's made a decision to play that way. He plays much better when he's getting into the opposition box and he'll not do that on the edge of our box.
  22. Of course it's with hindsight, with hindsight we'd be worse off without him. The players aren't the problem, the way that we play is. The players will become as much of a problem as our playing style because it will become so ingrained that they'll struggle to change if it goes on for much longer.

    Papiss Cissé

He did today, he offered absolutely nothing when he came out for the 2nd half other than a few headers which had no direction and a shot which went to the keeper at about the same pace as Shola would have if he'd tried to dribble the ball to the keeper.
