Basically, yes. Liverpool have already qualified so if they win they can finish above us and we would still qualify.

Liverpool winning guarantees us nothing, it makes it easier.

We're not relying on other teams for favours, it would just make qualification for Europe so much easier and if Liverpool win we could qualify for Europe next weekend.

You forget that he actually hasn't done anything to support these statements except for refusing Pardews handshake?! People are just grabbing this from nothing. His interviews and most of his public gestures (celebrating with Cisse, the team, ...) say otherwise. Just read again what mini posted. The best we can do as fans is continue to support him so that he gets over his dry spell quickly and doesn't lose more confidence. You shouldn't have to tell people that. If BA is pissed off at getting brought off then good for him, I want all of our players to want to play 90 minutes of every game. I'll take a Demba BA over a Michael Owen every day of the week. Ben Arfa is getting some fantastic publicity for the club. We haven't really built the clubs finances up since relegation, we've just cut costs and relied on the increased Sky money but that has to change and Ben Arfa is creating an interest from outside our fanbase that I haven't seen in years and it's all positive.

He's hardly played for us this season and I'd rather he was recognised at international level if that's where he gets his motivation from. I'd also like to watch him play when we have nothing else to watch.
